🔊 ON • Tonight I heard Marino De Rosas play in his hometown for the first time in 10 years. He’s been one of my favorite guitarists since I first heard @panniorfiba playing this tune in Paris 10 years ago and was blown away by this classic guitar that throws you to the sounds and flavors of an ancient Mediterranean, deeply Sardinian with a little Andalusia and Morocco @marinoderosas #happykid

#VirginiaBeach is an annual highlight. We've been coming here for the last 15+ years and it's always a great time. Family time.
#Linkingray experienced sand for the first time here. It's the place he first got to know the ocean. Last year we swam in a storm as it rained and he loved it (No thunder so the lifeguards let us enjoy ourselves). He can now swim in open water and just picked up boogie boarding.
The best part is he's not alone. All of his cousins do the same. We've gone down with anywhere from 2 car caravans to 10+. This year we were a mere 22 heads. (My #family is pretty big with my dad being one of 11). I love watching everyone interact and bond. It's a directive passed down from my recently passed grandfather. The directive that we all do things together no matter what. My aunts and uncles honor that wish. My cousins and I honor that wish. And now so too do our children.
We go together and we grow together.
