When you have the gym all to yourself... 'tis a good day! Squats, squats and more squats 🍑 #squats#boxsquats#strengthtraining#training#happyhumpday
Every single day when you wake up you make a decision. A decision to be happy or miserable. A decision to change or stay the same. A decision to go for your dreams or continue to feel sorry for yourself. A decision to believe in yourself or think it’s impossible.
Every decision you’ve made over your life time has lead you to where you are right now. Are you satisfied with where you are today? Have the decisions you’ve made brought you to where you want to be?
I’ve realized over the past year that I wasn’t where I wanted to be so I needed to make a change, take a leap of faith and believe in myself. Trust me, it sure wasn’t easy or always fun but I’m so glad I did.
I’ve got a long way to go but not looking back now!
#HappyHumpDay now burn yo booty with me🔥 To be honest lately I haven’t been feeling it but definitely not using that as an excuse. If you wait for your emotions to drive your change you’ll probably never have long lasting change. So get to it💪🏼 Todays workout was super killer and I’ve been putting in work with
Happy Leg-day to all.
questions I get asked a lot about: how to go about starting to get fit and building muscle, losing fat, etc, etc.
I recommend a few things first if you’re new and don’t want to hire a coach/nutritionist to write you out a meal plan each week/month. Knowledge is power, anyone? Let me teachhhhh. Key things below to start researching/asking individuals about who are more knowledgeable:
A healthy metabolism/hormonal system-physiologic wise.
Basic Knowledge in the macro department and knowing the general idea of what constitutes as a carb/fat/protein and how much you NEED of each given your activity level. (Google that ish)
How many kcals you’ve been consuming generally speaking RIGHT NOW (compared to how much YOU need to be eating based off of variables)
A workout plan to follow that fits your own personal life and stress level.
Preferably lifting/resistance style training mixed with cardiovascular training instead of one over the other.
A self-confidence level that allows you to BELIEVE you can do this.
All of this above may be difficult to address and implement. It’s hard to change habits. My goal when I help someone whether in person at @completenutritionbg (Totally come talk with me if you ever want too) or by phone/text/email is to have you walk away feeling more knowledgeable, more motivated, and more self-sufficient in this area in your journey to health and happiness. There are a thousand ways to do fitness, find your way and live your life. :) the best plan is the plan you can stick with. And that’s a fact. It may be hard, but that’s why it’s a journey and your journey will change over time. Growth is possible in this! Alright, I got off an a bit of a rant and off topic. 🙃 that is all.
and hey, that’s just my opinion 🤷🏽♀️😁
