When I feel like I’m stuck mentally I have the tendency to overthink and get down in the dumps on myself. Lately I’ve been practicing positivity and manifesting the things I’d like to be happening in my life. If things aren’t working I should never be afraid to step back and begin again. Just like those jellyfish😉 Truly awesome things can happen!

These are the perfect size snack and I will be packing a few in a zip lock bag for my flight this weekend ✈️
Simple recipe with real ingredients. Thank you @mad_about_food for sharing the recipe. I followed the recipe exactly minus the dark chocolate chips (I forgot 🤦🏼‍♀️) and used mostly organic ingredients. I also used lady finger bananas (personal preference) and sea salt flakes.
Note: This batter made 12 mini muffins (pictured) plus 6 large ones. I lined a 6 cup muffin tray with paper and put it in the freezer for two hours, then put the frozen muffins into a zip lock bag back into the freezer to bake fresh another day.

PIZZA BREAD

Ingredients:
1 Cream of Tomato Soup (1 Meal)
1/4 tsp Baking Powder (1/2 Condiment)
2 tbsp Water

Options:
1/8 to 1/4 cup or 0.5 oz to 1 oz shredded cheese (subtract from your lean)
1 Light Laughing Cow Cheese Wedge (1/2 Healthy Fat)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Spray a cookie sheet with pam or use parchment paper. Combine soup, baking powder, seasonings and water. Spread the batter on prepared cookie sheet and form a circle. I wet my hands and used them to spread the batter because the batter kept sticking to my spoon. Bake for 5 minutes and then flip using a spatula. If you would like to add cheese, do it now after flipping. Stick the bread back in the oven for 5 more minutes. If using laughing cow cheese, spread it on when the bread is done baking. Enjoy!

Our first spin class at the Rec Center. 🚴🏻‍♀️🚴🏼‍♂️ I was quite frustrated with the program on the bike. I couldn’t get it to set up for me. It really got me upset & in my head. I tried to let it go & follow the instructor, but my OCD does not allow me to let those things go 🙄

In the end, I got sweaty, my heart rate was way up & I got a good workout. That is why I was there 😉

Shockingly, it will be 2019 in just a few short weeks!! Everyone I know seems to be taken off-guard by this fact. Wasn’t it just summer? So, in the service of not ending the year feeling as though you’ve been flattened by the march of time, here are some things you can do to finish the year ready to start fresh:

1. Get rid of the clutter! It’s amazing how much stuff most of us have that we don’t need or use... I just organized my closet and brought a heap of clothes to the consignment shop and I already feel lighter ☺️ 2. Clear up confusion. We often let minor (or not so minor) confusions linger, generally because we’re afraid to find out the answers to our questions. Uncertainty often leads to an anxious mind. Just ask and find out! The answer will give you guidance towards your next move. 
3. Have important conversations especially if it’s going to get you that much closer to your goals by year end. Just did this today actually and let’s just say I’m glad I did because I am anticipating big things to come for my business in 2019! 
4. Ask for what you want. Put it out there... If you can’t get what you want, you’re also unlikely to get what you need. So put a smile on your face and practice your assertiveness and perhaps your next anticipated “no" can become a "yes”
5. Stop procrastinating and start doing! The place to combat procrastination is in your self-talk. A client reminded me of this just the other day... stop TRYING and start DOING! Trying is somewhere between doing and not doing. So over these next few weeks I’m changing my mindset from “I’m trying” to "I am just going to do the damn thing!”
6. Reconnect. The holidays bring a whirlwind of activity. But I encourage you to create some little windows of quiet to enjoy time with family and friends. My favorite days are ones when I’m cuddled up with a cozy blanket by the fire playing board games with my kids. 
7. Set intentions for the upcoming year and write them down... what you’d like to accomplish, learn and experience. It’s a great way to set yourself up for a wonderful year to come! 
Who’s ready to kick it into high gear and finish the year’s end strong?!

If you saw my stories last night.. You know what Im talking about. Those are rare moments for me, but they happen. 🤷🏼‍♀️I LOSE MY SHIT TOO GUYS. When you scroll through Instagram, all you see is perfection. Perfect hair, perfect makeup, perfect body, perfect attitude, perfect discipline, perfect work ethic, perfect fucking life🙄I call bullshit. How discouraging is it to seem like you are the only one on the planet struggling with something. How are "Fitspos" supposed to help anyone when they struggle with nothing! And if they do... its about how they look and being self conscious(Nothing against that). You hardly ever read about Stacy (idk) having a hard time reaching her ROM. or a hard time growing a certain group, or having to reach out for knowledge and advice. They always seem to have their shit together.

Thats not me. My poop is hardly ever in a group🙅🏼‍♀️I could NOT get even activation in my glutes last night. I do NOT have a solution at the moment. I do NOT know why my body was struggling. I have felt uneven strength.. but uneven activation shut. me. down. Frustration is a brick wall for me. Frustration is one of the only feelings I have ever experienced that gives me severe fucking anxiety almost to the point of a panic attack (I know Im pathetic from time to time). I literally start to lose my mind. So NO I didnt have a great Hump day. NO I didnt have a fabulous leg day. YESSSSSSSSSS I cried like a lil bitch because of it. 😂But hey, ITS REAL. AND MORE THAN OKAY. I do not portray myself as some all knowing, perfect example of health. Im documenting my journey for ME, and hopefully can help someone indirectly keep on keeping on. Thats all. Thats all im here for. .

The sauce on this stir fry was soo good!! This was also very easy and quick to make. I’m taking the rest for lunch tomorrow! ...
•2 large boneless chicken breasts, chopped •16 oz fresh broccoli, chopped •4 large carrots, peeled and sliced •2 garlic cloves, minced •pinch red pepper flakes •2 Tbs olive oil 
For the teriyaki sauce: •1/3 cup coconut aminos teriyaki flavor •1/3 cup water •2 Tbs fresh ginger, chopped •3 tsp whole wheat flour •1/4 cup raw honey ~Whisk teriyaki sauce ingredients in a small bowl and set aside. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet, add the chicken and carrots until carrots are just tender. Add the garlic and cook another minute. Meanwhile, steam the broccoli in the microwave in a covered bowl with a little water, about 6-7 minutes. Add the teriyaki sauce to the chicken mixture and cook for about 2 minutes, until slightly thickened. Stir in broccoli, top with red pepper flakes, and serve over brown rice. Enjoy! ...

“Listen to your Body” has probably become my favorite quote that I live my life by. Back when I played soccer and track I was super competitive. 🏃‍♀️ Especially when it came to running. My 8th grade year I was one of the best 800 runners, winning 1st in all but 1 race. That year during track season, it was also club soccer season meaning 2 days a week I had back to back practices. I would push so hard during every practice being so competitive that I would do practically the opposite of this quote. Toward the end of the season I started to get really bad chest pain and would become short of breath at practices. Flash forward 5 doctors and a few months later it turned out that I had exercised induced asthma. The next 2 years in high school I played soccer and found myself in the chiropractor often. I have an extra vertebrae in my lower back that was causing pain. I wasn’t stretching properly or truly taking care of myself in any way which did not help. My soccer coach would tell us to keep going even if we threw up during practice and they always asked for 110%, but I can’t remember them showing us how to properly stretch or that we need to listen to what our body is saying so that we avoid injury and play better. Up until a little over a year ago, self-care wasn’t a part of my life and my body truly felt horrible. But now, I do listen. I work out to strengthen my body, I eat healthier so my body has better fuel to function, and I’ve learned to stop when I need to. I’ve seen how becoming more in tune with your body lets you do so much more than just pushing yourself to the limit. Yoga has become my best friend along with meditation (still trying to make it a habit, but it truly helps). Both allow me to clear my head and see what’s going on. So when I saw that @sarahs_day made a set with this quote on it, I had to have it. ❤️ .

I’ve only lost 5 pounds in the last month, but the biggest #nonscalevictory for me is finally being comfortable wearing tighter clothing (don’t mind my “sick outfit” lollll) In the past (and still now sometimes tbh) I would always wear loose shirts and pull on the hem of my shirt so the shirt wouldn’t be tight around my stomach. Today, I threw most of my fears out the window and wore tighter clothes than I’m used to. It’s not a huge victory by any means, but I’m one step closer to being fully comfortable in my own skin 😌

I used to hate vegetables. 
And I'm not talking like when I was 5... I used to hate vegetables up until about a year ago. And it wasn't like one day I woke up and POOF.. it took taste bud training. ⠀

I knew if I ever wanted to live a happy, healthy life,  I needed to change my habits and that included eating veggies. (There was a Meijer commerical on tv, a looooong time ago, a little girl was comparing two different brands of sauteed spinach and she screams yuck to both of them.. she was and is my spirit animal)⠀

I wanted to scream yuck at the top of my lungs but I figured out was to hide them into foods. Usually cheese and ranch. Just to get used to the taste and I slowly backed away. I can now eat them raw. Would I rather eat a piece of pizza? Always. Do I eat them anyway? Yes, and I even sometimes enjoy them (gasp). ⠀

Moral of the story. Eat more veggies because they are so damn good for you. ⠀

Receta : 
4 huevos ( separadas yemas de claras ).
1 taza de aceite de canola
1 taza de stevia granulada 
1 taza de cacao
1 taza de harina de avena 
1 cdta de polvo de hornear 
1 taza de agua caliente 
Preparación:
Batir claras a punto de nieve y dejar a parte .

En una batidora batir hasta que creme , yemas , aceite y luego agregar stevia granulada , luego agregar cacao en polvo , cuando tengas el agua ya tibia ir agregando agua , harina de avena (que debe tener ya el polvo de hornear incorporado ) , cuando este lista la mezcla, agregar las claras en movimiento envolventes, llevar al horno x 45 min a 350 grados.

I have found that when my nervous system is calm, I am able to show up more with a clear mind and full heart. We are so good at stopping ourselves from doing the very things God has called us to do. We let fear and doubt take over our minds.

Instead, we need to start stepping out in FAITH! And believing in ourselves! God didn’t put you on this earth just because, He has a specific purpose and plan for you! And most of the time it will take FAITH to purse! Don’t let fear and doubt stop you from pursuing the path God has for you!

Esta delicia me dejó #sinaliento de lo riiiicaaaa y esponjosa que es y lo mejor es que es sugar free y lactose free , o seaaaaa.

Receta : 
4 huevos ( separadas yemas de claras ).
1 taza de aceite de canola
1 taza de stevia granulada 
1 taza de cacao
1 taza de harina de avena 
1 cdta de polvo de hornear 
1 taza de agua caliente 
Preparación:
Batir claras a punto de nieve y dejar a parte .

En una batidora batir hasta que creme , yemas , aceite y luego agregar stevia granulada , luego agregar cacao en polvo , cuando tengas el agua ya tibia ir agregando agua , harina de avena (que debe tener ya el polvo de hornear incorporado ) , cuando este lista la mezcla, agregar las claras en movimiento envolventes, llevar al horno x 45 min a 350 grados.
