Today is my Friday! I am going away for the weekend with my husband tomorrow and I am very much looking forward to it!!
We usually try to get one weekend a year away together because once you have children it can be very hard to forget who you are as a couple. As we all know, weekends away mean time off normal diet and exercise. This time last year I was almost dreading going away because I knew that it meant that I would not be able to eat my usual way. Exercise wasn't a huge factor for me at this point a year ago but I still worried about food. This year, I am at a very different mindset. I love eating, I look forward to it and I am very much looking forward to what I'm going to eat while I am away. The majority of the time it is ok to be focused on diet and training, but when you get times where you can enjoy a weekend or a few days off, grab it and enjoy it! Life is not lived if we are constantly restricting or dieting. Life is to be lived! So from tomorrow till Monday I will be doing just that.....living my best Life! (I am however going to have a look in the gym because I've never stayed in a hotel with a gym before and it's a very long time since I stepped foot in one!)
