Have you ever bought a saw simply for the medallion?
This one is from H.M. Meier, a hardware dealer out of St. Louis, MO.
Not sure who made the saw but likely one of the big companies back then.
I thought the oak leaves/acorn was pretty cool. 🐿
This is one of my Grandfather's handsaws that I have. Not having a bandsaw, this was the only way to make a difficult precision cut I needed to make. I feel privileged to be able to use the same tools he used to make projects and care for his family all those years. Now that I am older, and hopefully wiser, I wish I would have had more time to spend with him and hear the stories of him growing up. I try to emulate my Grandfather's character as I saw and understood him. He was a good, wise, Godly man. Since I can no longer glean wisdom from my Grandfather, I spend time each morning seeking wisdom from my Heavenly Father wanting to be a better father myself. I know I will never be perfect but I try to improve each day using the tools He gives me. His example of unconditional love is something I strive for. I want to say,"Happy Father's Day" to all the fathers and father figures. Being a father is not easy, and none of us will be perfect, but the rewards are so sweet. Happy Father's Day!
Hand sawing today in a tight spot! 35"x20"x7 inch thick. Doing it the superior way which is the right way the first time. Lots of protection and safe! @pedroobritos and I Killin it out there once again 👍 #superiorcoring#superior#handsaw#cutting
