Little coasters as a small gift fur the lovely humans hosting a Friendsgiving today. It was a joy to start and finish a project when I’ve been so bleh lately. Used some fabrics I’m really in love with, even if I was a dummy and cut a piece too small so these are real bitsy coasters finishing at 3.5” square. #coasters#handmadegift
Oh my god the December workshop from @thecraftersbox is amazing! @melanieabrantesdesigns teaches you how to carve a wooden spoon. I’ve just started on mine and it’s so fun and relaxing!
Growing up, I often spent time with my dad in his workshop making little wooden toys. My sister and I would draw the design and he would cut the wood for us. Then we would get to nail, sand, and decorate it to our liking. I can’t believe it took me this long to explore wood carving! Maybe I should gift my spoon to my dad for Christmas? 🤔
If you want to sign up for December’s Crafter’s Box and make one of these wooden spoons then head on over to their website. You have until the 20th to enroll! Check my stories over the next few days to see how my spoon turns out 🥄💜 | 📸: @jackiewondersphoto |
