What goes inside a Nem Ran - Hanoi fried roll?
Let me list down: chicken, black ear mushroom-dried shitake (brought from Vietnam), carrot, sengkuang, tauge, shallot, glass noodle, free-range chicken eggs, spring onion, pepper, salt and sugar. All are wrapped in a very thin rice paper that are hand-carried from Hanoi.
Halal Vietnamese food-Menu to order:
1. Nem Ran, Hanoi fried roll, RM25/pack of 10 pcs (frozen), can be frozen for 4 weeks
2. Chao Ga, chix wrap lemongrass, RM25/pack of 10 pcs (frozen), can be frozen for 4 weeks
3. Goi Cuon, fresh rolls with prawn, RM45/10rolls, must consume within the day as it is fresh.
4. Lotus seed, ready to eat. RM45/500g pack
5. Mangomisu RM120/large one

My son helping me to prepare for Chao Ga - chix wrap lemongrass stick. It takes me one whole day to make it from going to the market to buy ingredients, cutting-chopping and marinate the meat, select, cut and wash lemongrass. And after that is wrapping and half-cook it.
It normally takes 1 day to do from morning till night. But it often takes me 2 days to do because I have to spend my time for other house chores and taking care baby at the same time. I can make like 8-15 packs per week only. The other days is to prepare for other dishes.
It is made from chicken meat without flour filler, marinated with Vietnamese traditional fish sauce. No MSG, no artificial flavor.
