There are LIMITED quantiites of some varities. These are either open-pollinated or Heirloom cultivars, grown locally in Romsey and started in a greenhouse 8 weeks ago.
ALONG WITH a limited quantity of Habanero and Padron chillies @mrsmushroomsanon @lholt1123 .
Today we went to go look for pre made #chili#sauces that had the ingredients I wanted but they all seemed to have shrimp paste or fish sauce or anchovies. mSG or other fake dyes and chemicals. So we picked up #Sichuan#peppercorns chili chile star anise cinnamon spices ginger garlic and other magical ingredients to make a #fusion hot Chili #sauce . OmG I’ve broken barriers and my own rules here. I’m doing #fusion and it feels so right!
With #pho , with cold #noodles , with #samosas - it’s amazing! AH. No animals harmed and almost all organic.

sesame and other healthy oils all cooked then blended

also I should thank our dog Buddy for jumping on the table and eating the first batch! That led to me adding the #Sichuan ingredients to the paste left in the blender! 🐱
Dinner tonight for me was chorizo tacos.
I grilled my tortillas till super hot,
added Queso Fresco @caciqueinc to the hot tortillas as they stayed on the placa,
i added the hot chorizo with green and red bellpeppers, diced potatoes also pico de gallo with the habaneros cooked that up separately
added more cheese, this time it was Queso Enchilado @caciqueinc
and more spicy pico de gallo with added habaneros!! It was so delicious

So at @Sanctuary_farms I grow some pretty freaking hot Chile. Not the typical red or green or common jalapeño. I took a chance at finding some really hot stuff for my own personal use. We got some fire Trinidad Scorpion & Chocolate Habanero. Turns out these did really well in the garden and I am very pleased (as these are nowhere to be found in SF at any grocery store). I love to make salsa, & people always tell me I should sell the salsas I make.. Well here ya go. If you ever want some salsa hot ya girl up. #salsa#habanero#trinidadscorpion#freshlymade
Homemade Hot Sauce for the first time !
Mango carrot Habanero 😋
*8 habanero peppers- halved and de-seeded
* 1 cup shredded carrots
*1.5 cup of mango
* 1 large yellow onion diced
* 1 bell pepper diced
* 4 crushed cloves of garlic
* 1/2 cup of water
*3/4 cup of vinegar ( I used a combo of apple cider vinegar, coconut, red wine, and cherry balsamic) literally just a smorgasbord of anything in the cupboard
*2 tsp of salt
And a healthy dash of smoked paprika and ginger
Bring to a boil , and simmer for 35 min
And then purée that shiz and pop it in the fridge. The recipe I started from suggested letting it cure for a week in the fridge - pretty damn good right now though 😏
Every now and then a beer comes along that crosses the line into culinary experience. But this being #garageproject not only are many lines crossed, they are blurred completely. #lacalaveracatrina is a lager brewed with #habanero#chilli , watermelon, maize and rose water. The annual release, along with Day of the Dead, is a celebration of #chili infused beer and that we are all equal in death. Enjoy with habanero spiked tacos (preferably without one of the 70B animals killed annually for human consumption.) The carbonation will cut right through the (mock) fish and avocado (which is vegan!) and the chilli from both will marry up with explosive results!
