possibly one of the best things you can take for gut health. have you ever heard of the term "leaky gut"? well that's basically a way of saying that the lining of your gut is so permeable that bits of undigested food & toxins are able to escape & leak into your bloodstream. when this happens, it can wreck havoc on your immune and endocrine system causing hormonal imbalances, food sensitivities, and even auto-immune disorders. most of the time I see l-glutamine being used by athletes for muscle regeneration and recovery, but lately I've been seeing it as a tool to heal the gut. the cells in the lining of your gut are fueled by glutamine and absorb it directly. since your gut & intestines are all just a bunch of muscles that work to digest our food, why wouldn't you be able to use this as a tool to recover & regenerate? so I'm finally putting this container of @irontekfit glutamine powder to use 💪💪
• 1 tsp. with water first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.
• 1 tsp. with water before bed (at least 3-4 hours after your last meal).

Hair loss usually comes down to dietary factors, gut health,hormones and stress but not only that the shampoos/ conditioners etc. you use on your hair may also be the problem. Most today are jam packed with chemicals that disrupt our thyroid gland and the symptom of that can be hair loss, these synthetic shampoos also contain xenoestrogens that imitate oestrogen in our bodies. Too much oestrogen in our bodies is not good news. ☀️I love essential oils and tend to always look for brands that contain them because they are healing to the body & they contain many beauty benefits too. Here is an idea of some in the picture that can boost hair growth alongside a good diet & healthy gut of course. 😀
☀️You can simply add a couple of drops to your shampoo when you wash your hair or you can make hair masks & leave to soak into the scalp. You must always use a carrier oil if you choose to do this. Here is a recipe idea you might want to try at home:
3 drops rosemary essential oil.
3 drops lavender essential oil.
2 drops thyme essential oil.
2 drops cedar wood essential oil.
4 drops grapeseed oil.
1/2 tsp. Jojoba oil. ☀️Mix all of the ingredients together and then rub into the scalp, especially the roots to nourish them. You can leave on for 30 minutes & then wash as normal. ☀️Synthetic shampoos are not good for our hair or health. Try new brands and see what you like. I’m always experimenting with new products - I don’t always have natural products to hand but I do my best to keep the more toxic ones to a minimum.

4 out of 7 nights for my first week have been just a good piece of #angus rump, no sides. It has been a week on my new regime, I'll ramp it up for the second week Ive been easing into the detox because I don't want to shock my body. Every day though I have made sure I get all my supplements in a day and have been having berry smoothies (sometimes 2) a day. No snacking but that's normal for me.
Getting the bone broth in is a key next week and the celery juice. I've been struggling with my normal lack of appetite so hoping that my appetite increases so I can easily get what I need in.
I'm not feeling a whole lot different at the moment and wasn't expecting too so quickly, I do however feel more motivated more so because I am excited to feel better. Yesterday I did though feel pretty crap everything ached and I had no energy I wonder if that's more to do with the fact I don't get my carbs in anymore... I'm not missing bread but I want my potatoes.

Oh Meag, we’ve been through it all. Each and every person that comes into your life is there for a reason. You will both learn from each other and help when needed, even without realizing it. Just our presence, in a place, at the right moment can change a life. Sometimes we don’t even need to say things to help others. Light is bright and it can shine over the ones that need it, without much effort from our side. I have seen this girl find amazing healing. There is not much point in weighing which fault was the greater; that is merely the ego protecting itself. When you understand your own limited but lovely place within this universally imperfect world, you will find it almost natural to become more patient and forgiving with other people too. So to those who don’t forgive, here’s the lesson I’ve learned: Forgiveness challenges us to think about the pain we have inflicted on others and our need to receive forgiveness. You are not walking a blameless path, we say things we don’t mean but you’ve taught me that praying for our friends can bring healing and restoration in their life despite anyone who has cursed them. When we walk with the broken, forgive and not cast them aside... we receive healing through that love not division. I love growing with you in health and light working. 💛 Legit shocked by how yellow these yolks turned out in the scramble! Such a nice yellow
🥚 Also added pure cream, and Bega Heritage Vintage Reserve Cheddar (its not a bright yellow cheese either, just normal)
🥓 Added some bacon and made a beef patty with mince, salt, tons of pepper and garlic granules to make it taste like one of those Macca’s breakfast patties
lately all I’ve wanted for dinner are these huge salads filled with tons of color & nutrition. So I want to break down all the components for you guys and exactly how I throw everything together!
GREENS - I’m very into a combination of greens. Something fresh, crunchy & lighter + a darker greens and something even a little more bitter. I usually do romaine + arugula and lately I’ve done romaine + a spinach/baby kale/chard mix. Do whatever you like!
VEGGIES - I like to meal prep a bunch of veggies and use them for the next several days in these salads. I’m a big fan of adding COOKED veg into my salads because we don’t want everythingggg to be raw and cold, not so friendly for the gut. Steam, roast, sauté, use different spices and mix it up. The point here is color & variety and it’s a great way to get tons of nutrients in and even use leftovers.
CRUNCH - I’ll do some raw veg here like cucumber, and I also love seaweed (very obsessed) but you could also add something like nuts and seeds! The point here is to keep it interesting and add texture.
DRESSINGS & DIPS - this is the key. I tend to use dollops of dips as my dressings. I’ve gone through phases (if you remember I used to add macadamia nut oil like crazy haha) but right now I’m liking something a little lighter. I’ll take a dollop of whatever I’m using that night and add it to the bowl with greens, then I take my hands and massage it all together so all the greens are touched. I’ll also add things like lemon juice, coconut aminos, and sea salt and do the same. Then I’ll add another dollop to the top for extra flavor. I love pestos, hummus, baba ganoush, and lately this amazing dip. This is also how you’re getting in healthy fat. I a love massaging avocado in too, or adding it on top. Again, get creative and dress it up! Great way to add flavor and something more fun!
Obviously you can also add things like protein but right now my digestion is liking salads without it. That will likely change in the future but I’m trying this out. I’m very into these combos right now! What’s your fav component of a big salad? 🌱✨✌🏼

Over 20 years ago my mum told me that she believed I would write a book, to share my story with other people. I knew that I had a unique story to tell but at 15years of age, this just passed as an inkling. I did start writing pieces of my story at that young age but these just got stored away alongside the seed. Over the years, the inkling to tell my story got stronger and stronger but I ignored it, after all, I had a busy life. I was working, I was creating my life, I was a wife, a mum of two kids and just didn’t have the time. I kept putting it on the back burner, making excuses. It wasn’t until earlier this year when I was explicitly told to write my book and attend this workshop with @hayhouseaustralia that I knew it was time.
Yesterday was epic. I got to meet the CEO of Hay House US, a huge publishing company and this was the catalyst to propel me forward. It was a huge leap of faith. To stop hiding behind my exterior. To actually share my story and my life with others, to open myself up in order to enable others to heal and grow.
Although I don’t know what the journey entails or even when my book will be finished or published I do know this. That it is all about the process, it’s about the journey. Thanks for joining me.

Last year when I bought this dress ir didn't fit. It was too tight in the middle around my belly. Come to find out I was SIBO 'd.
