𝐒𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘
Sometimes when a person is talking to me instead of listening I stare into their eyes, how they light up with enthusiasm as they speak. I observe how passionately they speak about a certain event or a person and I immediately ascertain how the world inside their head is alot more colorful than their real life.
They live in a bubble where they’ve painted their own world in their favorable colors. I somehow get the urge to protect this bubble instead of bursting it.
These are pleasantly happy individuals, a delight to speak to, they may not have many logical opinions to offer but they have plenty of positivity in stock and I pray they remain that way even if it means that they are a little out of touch with reality.
Sanity and reality never made many people happy anyway.
