Doing some late night work with Swinguru and @boditraksports to work on my footwork. Curious to see how I can increase my peak velocity (apply more pressure to the ground) which was at 195 on this swing which allows me to have the ground help me create speed into and through the ball. First swing of the day I was around 164 peak velocity. On my second swing, Lifting my lead heel as I loaded into my trail leg in the backswing increased my peak velocity my over 30. Lifting the heel helps me a lot. The old school greats did it: Snead, Nicklaus, Watson. And Francesco Molinari had an incredible 2018 and if you watch his swing videos from this year you will notice he lifts his lead heel. Lifting the lead heel in the backswing is also great if your back or hips are tight. It frees you up to move and gets you loaded and coiled more than if your foot was planted. Another benefit is it’s much harder to rush the backswing. You can’t start down until your left foot is planted in transition, so it basically forces you to have a bigger swing and slower transition. All good for timing and power. I can see this happen with a lot of the great and powerful ball strikers and now I can precisely measure how it directly impacts my swing. #efficiency#power#heellift#swingthought#coach#tpi#boditrak#swinguru#groundforce#loadandexplode#pga#lpga#usga#golf#science#technology#biomechanics#measuredontguess#seetheunseen#3d#camera#training#day#night
💥 The Robby Row Show - Episode 40 - Tim Gibbons (@LineDrivePro) - READ BELOW - SOUND ON 📶📶📶 - LINK IN BIO 💥
💥 In episode 40 of The Robby Row Show I expand my horizons to the hitters side of the spectrum! I get to chat with Tim Gibbons who runs “The Data Cage” in Jacksonville, FL. Tim is fascinating in his approach to teaching the art of hitting. Safe to say that everything he is teaching is fairly new school but listening to his comparisons to the likes of guys like Ted Williams is truly amazing. Dive into this episode to hear Tim and I totally geek out about the way the game is evolving with the use of technology on the hitters side of the spectrum.

My little autumn gal 🍁🍂🥀 such an enthusiastic little gardener! #groundforce#totalamateur 🌾 Serious question; do yucca’s survive outside if slightly undercover? 🤔 I think it’s too hot in our house for them (Leon survives the winter by heating up our home to temperatures more familiar with the tropics 😆)
Starting Left Tackle Charles Leno Jr [@charleslenojr72] was drafted by the @chicagobears in the 7th round back in 2014. This guy is a absolute beast and we’re honored to help him with his off-season preparation each year!

I had a coach tell me one time “you need to be comfortable being uncomfortable” well today I did that quite a bit. Not the biggest fan of box jumps since my surgery, but need to do it for my swing. And good news, that is the highest i have jumped since my surgery! Not a huge fan of balance work the day after a rim rocker practice, cause yes... my ankle is sore. But sometimes like I said earlier, you need to get comfortable being uncomfortable. What did you do today? #imbrighterthanyou#neon#proveemwrong#handstand#surgery#ups#higher#vertical#groundforce#balance
🔊🔛 Did you know that everyone has an optimal stance width for their anatomical build? ‼️Did you also know that amateurs rarely set up with the same stance width which leads to inconsistency? 👈🏼👀The trick is to repeat the same optimal stance width over and over again which enables you to repeat the same movement pattern, and increase consistency. 📈ALSO you need to hear this.... I produce more lateral force in my swing and so flaring out my left toe is optimal to ensure the power from my trail hip is transferred through to the lead side allowing my left hip to rotate through more. 👌🏼 the lead heel stomp helps me to time my application of vertical force which is my breaking system! 🤩🙌🏼Note: 👉🏼If you struggle to rotate through to the left side, try flaring out your left toe at setup. 🤓🤩🤯 if your kinematic sequence deceleration chain flat lines, try the lead heel stomp drill. #researchanddevelopment#groundforce#biomechanics#stance#stancewidth#golf#golfer#ladygolfer#ladygolfers#womengolfers#golfgirls#sport#sports#education#sportsscience#3d#biomechanics#exercise#golfing

💥 The Robby Row Show - Episode 15 - Brent Pourciau (@topvelocity) - READ BELOW - LINK IN BIO 💥 -
💥 In episode 15 of The Robby Row Show I sit down with Brent Pourciau of @topvelocity to discuss all things in the realm of pitching velocity. Brent doesn't take a conventional, in the box, approach to training pitchers. No, in fact, some will say what he does is absolute blasphemy. Does he care? No. Why? Brent 100% believes in what he teaches and his athletes will tell you the same thing. Brent and I dive into the world of biomechanics, kinetic energy, data driven approaches, ground force and weighted balls. Brent's unconventional approach comes in the form of getting his athletes to train in line with olympic weightlifters who have to use the total body in lifting the weight. Listen in to one of the most unconventional... or genius minds in velocity development today in Brent Pourciau.

I’m very lucky I have people around me who honestly want to see me succeed. S/O to @eismangolfacademy its always a great environment whenever I swing by and all of Jon’s students are ballers too so it’s always an opportunity to get better. I’m always looking to fine tune my golf swing and I can’t wait to rev it up in competition 😈
