🌀💚Ⓜ️💚🌀 Pretend play is hard for someone like Keanu who has ASD. With this toy he had a hard time but the concept of dressing he knows but it is more helpful if he see an actual fireman, doctor in uniform.
Karobran kids love our ball pit! It provides exploratory play and opportunities for sensory input. Karobran still has places in their new therapy-based play groups. DM us today. #Karobran#sensoryplay#pOTential
Shining the sportlight on our GREENSBOROUGH classes.
Liam counts down the days each week until he gets to go to 'sport'. When we first tried RSGK with Liam he was very anxious about not being able to do things like the other children or his big sister, but with the support, understanding and gentle encouragement from Hayley and the RSGK team his confidence has grown immensely and he's willing to give anything a go!

K guys I have some friends that started a business and it is SO CUTE! See that tie Finn is wearing? Not only is it a cute tie but it has a zipper pocket in it 😱 swipe to see! Your kids can put little trinkets, toys, or little candies in there while looking stylish! They even have matching father and son ties (a perfect Christmas gift if you ask me☺️) and have so many different tie choices to choose from! Go check them out! @the.stash.project 😊

Having some time away as a family to celebrate hubby's birthday and we managed to find some amazing outdoor blocks!
This farmhouse cafe is one of our favourites with a big veggie patch, animals, sand pit, basketball ring and toys galore! 🌱
The wooden outdoor blocks were an immediate hit with L because he loves to build and create. 👌
Hubby and I have already talked about making him a set of outdoor blocks like this for Christmas! 🎄
Has anyone else seen these before or own a set like this?? 👍
Mindfulness, resilience and focus are all learned skills, and activities like yoga are a wonderful way to learn them. We spoke to @mindfulmunchkins about the importance of these skills and how they can help our little ones better manage their emotions and feelings. Read more via the 🔗 in our bio! 🧘♂️🧘♀️💙 🛒
Hopping is an exciting developmental achievement that usually occurs between ages 3 - 5 years. It is a component of other gross motor skills used in dance, such as skipping and kicking . Make sure the supporting knee is bent for a safe landing!
Holy smokes, how are you all doing? It's been a hot minute since I last hopped on here, mainly due to family vacation, life, church events, life, throw in a sick kiddo and snow and daily life!
Thanksgiving is right around the corner and im always excited about seeing family, the food-DUH, and the fun! Do your family gatherings involve games? We have a new one to add to the mix every year, and this one is tagging along.
To make this big brown bird grab paper sacks, crumple some colored paper, and heat an inch of a glue stick for the gun. Seriously, that's all you need for STUFF THE TURKEY! Low key crafting at its finest! 😉
Race against the timer to see which family can stuff (toss) the most stuffing ingredients (colored paper wads) into this ready to bake bird! Such fun was had today with kiddos and adults 👍 Definitely worth getting the glue gun out for only two minutes.
Fall asleep in your Mac and cheese tired. That's the level we're at tonight!
After not one, but three vendor shows with the hubby gone and being on call for the hospital, we are all exhausted (my oldest literally feel asleep in her mac and cheese tonight!)...BUT also so excited about the connections we made, the people we met, and the children we're going to help have FUN while gaining their developmental skills!
Our 7 to 8 month kit was by far the most popular this weekend. Head to the link in our bio to check it out and get yours today.
Here at Karobran we love our arts and crafts time. It's a fun and sneaky way to practice fine motor skills, visuospatial awareness and encourage creativity. Group Occupational Therapy sessions are up and running so call today to discover how we can support children of all abilities. 👩🏼🎨🎨 #artsandcrafts#PaedsOT#skillbuilding
Practising her finger taps before bedtime. Do you spot the mix up there? These are harder to do rhythmically - a bit like a tongue twister. Which do you find easiest, one hand at a time or both hands together?
🌍 PLANETS 🌏
A planet themed play prompt for my girls #spaceplayprompts .
For the baby it was more of a bright, round sensory mat for her to crawl around and explore. She loved the textures balls and the sound of the foil when she shook it! Encouraging some big gross motor movements 💖
Big C loves the #usbornebooks we have on Space so I left the page open on the Solar System. She tried to match the balls to the planets in the books by the colour and rings and asked what the planets were called.
She now recognises Earth and understands it's the planet where we live! She asked who lived on the other planets which leads on brilliantly to some Alien play! .
Of course the play mat wasn't a true representation of our solar system- as my girls are very young I just want to introduce the concept of planets being round and to differentiate between Earth and other planets 🌎.
See what @thelifeschoolers others are getting up to with their #spaceplayprompts 👇.
The Pikler Arch is an interesting climbing variation for children. Instead of climbing up like on the Pikler Triangle, children must climb forward which develops the upper body much like a push-up would.
