Pressed lavender given to me by a beautiful friend, & some plays I’ve been studying this week.
Orestes & Pylades have a wonderful bond, & their relationship has melted my heart. Pylades would go to the ends of the Earth for his cousin, Orestes, & follows him without hesitance. It is, I think, the kind of bond that the Greeks called Agape, which is perhaps the strongest of bonds any two people can have.
27 years ago today. Fairly certain this was my first time at the Greek. I may be wrong, but Stevie may have been one of the first rock artists to outwardly support troops. I remember buying a tour program and sending it to Jeff Roentsch, who was deployed to the Middle East at the time. #stevienickslive#greektheatre
“Chrysippus… holds beauty does not consist in the elements of the body (in themselves) but in the harmonious proportion of the parts. The proportion of one finger to another, of all fingers to the rest of the hand, of the rest of the hand to the wrist, and of these to the forearm, and of the forearm to the whole arm, and in short, everything to everything else.” (De Placitis Hippocratis et Platonis, V.448)

Four years ago I remember when I first heard this song, “See You Again” and automatically Googled @charlieputh because I thought he was “cute.” Four years later, even though I’ve already seen him live 10 times now, this song still gets me into tears.
Many people always ask me why I see some musicians multiple times during a tour and I can honestly say, every performance is unique and timeless.
As I mentioned already and everyone and their whole family knows how much I enjoy @charlieputh‘s music. I have many favorites but this song will always be on the top of the list. This song came out right after a dear friend of mine, @ohwowcaro passed away from a tragic accident.
She was so young, driven and beautiful and it was honestly heartbreaking when she passed away. It was really hard to deal with but when this song came out, it brought out some kind of closure for me that I still can’t explain to this day.
Anyways if you guys didn’t already know, I of course enjoyed my two day adventure to see this talented young fellow. I may have seen him solo but it was amazing seeing him and every single person in this audience sing this song.
On another note, thank you again @charlieputh And I hope everyone has a wonderful day 💕✨🎶
