For the month of June I made a commitment to raise $500 and ride 500 km in the Great Cycle Challenge to fight kids’ cancer.
Due to the wonderful supporters I surpassed my fundraising goal and raised $1252. However, it was much more challenging to complete the 500 km but I did pedal 346.5km, and I am continuing to complete this challenge and plan to match the kilometres to the amount which I raised by the end of the August.
A big THANK YOU to everyone who has sponsored my challenge. Your generous support will fund research to develop treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve. #greatcyclechallenge#gcc#kidscancer#cancersucks
We did it! Last month, I pedaled 152.5 km in the #GreatCycleChallenge to fight kids' cancer. It was a tough challenge, but worth it.
And now my sponsors and I have raised $1100 to end childhood cancer and save little lives... A big THANK YOU to everyone who sponsored my challenge. Your generous support will fund research to develop treatments and find a cure for childhood cancer to give these kids the brighter futures they deserve.

My Great Cycle Challenge for the month of June is over and I am thrilled to have ridden 403.1 miles (300 mile goal) and raised with your generosity $1,412.00 ($1,000.00 goal). I can't believe I "rode my bike from SF to LA"!! This year's event clocked in over 3.6 million miles and raised over 6.6 million dollars to give these kids the brighter future they deserve.
I also appreciate your patience and understanding with the constant barrage of ride updates throughout the month. While I added the pics, it was the ride app that automatically posted these updates. Believe me, I was sick of them too 😁
Thank you for all your support and encouragement and much love to all my generous sponsors:
She-Ra Vidrine, Kevin Condrin, Charlie Castaneda, Ellie Marks, J.J. Lynch, Marcy Johnson, Mimi Moncier, Caroline Cloak, Jacqueline Hilger-Rolfe, Johnny Hansell, Joyce Kost, Marie Lester, Sharon Speiser Condrin Pisenti, Sherril Condrin Harlow, Charlie Hunter, Ginni Ruppel, Jamie Furman, John Hall, Dawn Trook, Karen Adams McCall, Amy Bransky, Daniela Puccinelli, Kit Vella, Linda Adams
I wanted to take a second to thank my sponsors and all the people who motivated me to do June’s bike ride for the @greatcyclechallengeusa I managed to make some time to carve out 108 miles of cycling, achieving my goal and raise half of my money goal. I have tons of ideas for next years ride and I can’t wait to put em to the test!
I think talking about “failing” is just as important as talking about success. Technically I didn’t finish all of the miles in the month of June like I wanted, but I did finish them today.
And most importantly, I did raise all the money I wanted to raise for charity!
I just want to thank everyone who had a part in this - whether it was through liking my statuses, cheering me on, donating - THANK YOU. You made it worthwhile.
The only way you fail is by not trying! 🚴🏼♀️💪❤️
All done the #greatcyclechallenge !! It's pretty amazing to think back...when I first signed up, I figured 100km was an attainable goal and I would be lucky to raise $500 in the fight against children's cancer (see the second photo, which my coworkers generously circulated around the office for fundraising). Now here I am, 200km biked and $1,475 raised!!! What began as 'checking something off the bucket list' has turned into raising an awesome amount of money for a terrific cause. Thank you all so much for your support!! If anyone still wants to donate, my page is open for another few weeks in July. And I'll be sure to keep biking around town and showing off this epic jersey! What an exciting June! #cycling#cuckfancer#greatcyclechallenge2018#greatcyclechallengecanada#ONLY25AWAYFROM1500RAISED
Yesterday was the final day of the Great Cycle Challenge. My final stats: 126 miles and $1,001 raised for the Children’s Cancer Research Fund!
I rode in memory of a brave little girl named Callie who inspired the whole movement. She lost her battle shortly before the challenge. I can’t imagine the loss her family, friends, and community have felt. But I hope the money raised this month (over $6M) will help other children survive their battle with cancer.
I’m so grateful to everyone who donated, encouraged me, and rode each mile with me. Most of all, I’m grateful to my wife and daughters who let me leave 2 or 3 times a week to ride more than I’ve ever ridden before!!! 💕🚲🦋 #gccusa#greatcyclechallenge
We did it!!! Team Cycling Sisters conquered the challenge of riding 1,000 miles in June and raising money for Children's Cancer Research. A huge thanks to our sponsors and to everyone who supported us on this journey!!! _____________________________________________. 1,319 miles ridden

It was so great to be apart of this event and I am so grateful for all of the support and encouragement. #iamblessed ❤️❤️❤️❤️🚴🏻♀️🚴🏻♀️🚴🏻♀️❤️❤️
