Grave of Charlie Smith, who claimed to be the oldest man in the world. He told the story that he was born in Liberia, and was lured to America with the promise of fritters, whereupon he was enslaved in Louisiana. Later, he chased Billy the Kid and Jesse James. He watched Apollo rockets take off for the moon, but was a skeptic. About the only thing that is certain about Charlie Smith is that he died in 1979 and is buried at Bartow, Florida. #worldsoldestman#gravestone#wildwoodcemetery#bartowflorida#polkcountyfl

Second ever music related art, did a album cover for my dude @topflight_jiodady @topflightjiodady for his hip hop group with Top Flight. They just made a pretty cool song so he gave me the commision for the album cover and a shirt idea. Shirt design coming tomorrow.
The grave of Spike Milligan. Spike had joked that his epitaph should read “I told you I was ill.” However, when he was buried at St Thomas of the Martyrs Church in Winchelsea, the diocese were reluctant to allow this epitaph. A compromise was reached with the Irish translation of "I told you I was ill" - “Dúirt mé leat go raibh mé breoite.” The epitaph also reads (in English) "Love, light, peace". The additional epitaph "Grá mór ort Shelagh" can be read as "Great love for you Shelagh".

Amidst the gloomy thoughts that cloud my mind there are also beautiful little moments that shine through. Where some people find fear I find peace. A place where I cannot be judged for who I once was, who I currently am, or who I will become. My happy place. Where spirits leave their corporeal bodies to rest for eternity and feed Mother Earth once more. Although they are gone, their energy has never left us... it only moves forward in a way that we cannot yet perceive as we are stuck in a worldly state of dis-ease. Once we let go of these tangible constraints and allow for the universal force to carry us to our unforeseen destination we will experience euphoria.
