Yesterday I took a class on how to make granny squares. This is my first ever and I'm proud because at the beggining of the class I was really confused🤔 and I thought I could never understand how to do it but then after some time everything became easy. 😅💕 Now I can't wait to do more ✨ #grannysquares#crochet#pink#yellow#contrast#class#crafts
"Devagarinho a gente vai arrumando a casa.
- Rachel carvalho
Since I finished the blanket last night, I’ve been floundering a bit, whilst considering my next project.
Does anyone else get that “down” feeling when one project comes to an end?
I tend to lose my direction and question why I’m actually doing any of this crochet malarkey. Is it pushing me to improve my understanding and skills, or am I just using it as a way of passing the time?
Does the world, or at least my cottage NEED another blanket?
I’ve mentioned in another post that I don’t want to turn my crochet into a business, and I’ve run out of people to give the blankets to, so what now?
Until enthusiasm hits me again and I set off on the next crochet journey, I’m full of self doubt.
The thing is, I do need something to occupy my hands and brain. So tonight I collected up my favourite batik yarn again and re-visited these circles in squares. Something might develop - I’m thinking maybe expanding it into triangles and other geometric shapes? Let’s see where it goes.
🎶Little Lamb, who made thee?🎵I do wish I knew who made this little lamb. I found him lonely and forgotten in the thrift store and built this coat around him. Now he’ll never be lonely again💕 The portions I made (sleeves and front panels) are mostly scraps and vintage yarn, with a little modern @redheartyarns which matched up with the vintage Afghan perfectly. I love you, Red Heart!❤️

It's almost the end of the year... we are already planning our crochet and knitting designs for 2019! Can't wait to start making them 😉
What do you want to make next year?
Enjoy your day!
