It’s that time of year we look forward to every fall!
Our 2017 Toasted Applewood Finished Bourbon was such a hit that we decided to do it with our 100% Rye Whiskey, and we could not be more excited with how it turned out. We start with our fully matured 100% rye whiskey and add toasted applewood staves to it. The toasted applewood adds additional layers of fruit and berry notes on top of the already complex notes of rye spice, cinnamon, clove and caramel. It’s bottled at a full 100 proof to maximize all this whiskey has to offer.
Doors will open at 7am on Saturday, September 22nd. We will have homemade apple cider and pastries for all. The first 500 bottles will be hand numbered and packaged in custom handmade apple crates. Limit is one hand numbered bottle per person, but no limit on non-hand numbered bottles. Retail price is $69.95 after all taxes.

No. 229 Pale Ale is a rerelease - a reference to our home RM of Miry Creek and coincidentally our building number. It’s a late hop American pale ale focusing on hop flavour not bitterness. .
Straight Cut Sour - this baby is brand spanking new! A dry hopped kettle sour named for the hard working folks that take the crop off quick and leave their stubble up! .
Both will compliment this blistering summer heat perfectly!

Rye Day Friday Day. The Sugar House Rye Whiskey is 90% regular rye grain (locally sourced). The other 10% is malted rye making this whiskey a 100% rye mash bill. Then using a special yeast from Europe that gives it a nice stone fruit finish.

This whiskey was just put on "General Status" with the Utah DABC. Meaning that if it is not in your liquor store or resturant please request it. It is now much easier for restaurants, clubs and bars to get in the State system. 📷 @salttoothslc
Grab your bottle of Paper Lantern Gin and kick off the weekend with this refreshing summer cocktail. Try our very own take on the Cucumber Gin Rickey:
2 shots Paper Lantern Gin
1 handful of fresh mint leaves (more for garnish)
3 slices of cucumber (1 more for garnish)
½ shot fresh lime juice
1) Add the mint leaves, cucumber slices, lime juice to the shaker and muddle until everything is thoroughly crushed
2) Add the gin and ice and shake
3) Strain into a glass containing ice cubes, top up with ginger beer
