Last week I was given the opportunity to bake for @visionaustralia Low Vision Feast's lunch and cooking demo for a bunch of very special audience. It has always been my goal to give back to my local community and this sure is won't be the first. 
I had so much fun helping the audience making the "Microwave meringue", serving them lasagna, roast chicken, stir fried clams, salads, beef stew, meat balls and my vanilla lemon cake. It was indeed a glorious feast! 😉🥗🍗🥘🎂
Already looking forward to more charity events such as this, cause good tasty food should be democratically enjoyed by everyone regardless of their socio economic or cultural background.

Leading Hilton’s @catchrestaurant1 is Chef Kathy Tindall and Sous Chef Chris Hicking. To kick things off, Chris served up tempura barramundi tacos with chipotle mayonnaise, prawn and scallop san choy bow, halloumi fries with sweet and sour radicchio and confit kingfish fillet with buttermilk mushrooms and muhammarra.

🍳Посмотришь мои сториз и решишь, что я богиня на кухне, я и тег такой люблю поставить в рецептах🤣.

🍳Я люблю покупать и выбирать #продукты, обожаю накрывать красиво на стол, а также помогать на кухне тем, кто в этом разбирается больше. Но у меня нет cavallo di battaglia (коронных блюд), да что там - у меня даже нет базовых навыков нарезки овощей! Я умею готовить, но только когда я копирую и не отхожу ни на шаг от рецепта. Увы и ах.

🍳И вот вчера у меня случился Total disaster на кухне. Я хотела приготовить несколько разных блюд на понедельник, чтобы открыл холодильник и съел. Но не так, как обычно среди недели - кусок моцареллы, закусил помидором со свежим хлебом, или там салат с прошутто вприкуску, а чтоб полноценное блюдо. В итоге задымила всю квартиру🙈. .
🍳Короче, у меня остались открытые сливки, и я решила запечь картошку в духовке под фольгой. Сливки почему-то начали вытекать, гореть и страшно дымить. Пришлось открывать настежь все окна.

🍳Ну, я выключила духовку, достала сырое все. И взялась за следующее блюдо - #сырники. 🤣А они как известно из итальянской рикотты не лепятся, сколько муки не кинь.

🍳Честное слово, лучше бы я всю неделю ела bastoncini findus (рыбные палочки) и замороженный шпинат. Все таки я скорее una frana in cucina (бездарь). Ипровизейшн из нот май профешн на кухне.

🍳Провалов на кухне за один день мне, видимо, не хватило, и я стала переливать оливковое масло из канистры (tanica) (которые мы покупаем обычно в хозяйствах) в бутылку. Воронка (imbuto) почему-то не пропускала масло. Поразливала все вокруг, устала дико, в общем не день Бекхэма.

✴️Слава богу, что это все было уже после нашего прямого эфира. Вы его смотрели? А как выходные вообще?

Since we step our feet in Japan we new we wanted to have the best steak sandwich in the country and so we did... We arrived to Shima in central Tokyo, clamming that our flight was the day after as it was full house but when we mentioned the magic word: "steak sandwich" they answer back that we could have it as take away, so we proceed. We didn't know about the price and we already push the situation to be able to have one so nothing could stop us, not even the price... A total of 100AUD/75US/65€ for the best sandwich we ever had, and of course we had it in the street on a rainy day with our umbrellas as seats. 🤤

Llegamos a Shima en el centro de Tokyo, mencionando que nuestro vuelo a Barcelona salía al día siguiente ya que el restaurante estaba lleno, pero cuando mencionamos la palabra mágica: "steak sandwich" nos contestaron que podíamos pedirlo para llevar por lo que accedimos. No sabíamos cuál sería el precio pero ya empujamos tanto la situación que no había vuelta atrás, nada ni nadie nos podía parar. Un total de 100AUD/75USD/65€ por el mejor sándwich que jamás nos hemos comido y por supuesto nos lo comimos en la calle en un día lluvioso con nuestros paraguas como asientos. 🤤
