WARNING SPOILERS: Okay so this is gonna have to be a quick review guys...I’m on a half hour break at work...but I’m bored and literally have nothing to do. 😜 Okay so this movie turned out to be a better sequel then I had originally thought. I loved the dynamic of the new characters with our fan favorites. What I liked most is we got a lot more detail about quantum realm and many more scenes with Scott’s family. My favorite part of the movie is when he is trying out the new suit and it’s glitching and everything while hope is being all badass and kind of cute. And Luis and the other boys are more funny than ever!! 😂😂I was crying I was laughing so hard...The “villain” aka Ghost was such a unique character that i couldn’t help but see her point of view though her methods were less then honorable at some points. That is the beauty of marvel films...they allow us to see both points of view and at least understand each sides’ logic.NOW to another point that irked me... the ending....REALLY OMGERSH!!!#dustingtime#nothappy I was frustrated because I think Marvel could have done something different then trapping another person in the quantum realm. But for reasons still unknown they went with that option. UGGG! And the second end scene which only true fans will stay in the theater half an hour later to see was less than satisfactory...but that’s okay...I guess...nah I’m still not satisfied.🤔 Anyway I guess I will give the film 4 ✨stars out of 5.Not 5 because I think some lines were just a tad weak and the end scene was blah. #marvelites#antmanandthewasreview#antman#wasp#luis#freakingbest#greatfilmoverall#goseeit
Went to the opening last night of Turkish artist Asli Çavuşoğlu’s new work “The Place of Stone” at the New Museum. The artist was there and she spoke so eloquently about her work. In this large, 22 paneled fresco, Çavuşoğlu explores the origin, history and cultural significance of lapis lazuli. Of course I found textile design reference throughout. #cintamani#goseeit#aslicavusoglu thank you @robinpgibbs, @fusuneczacibasi and SAHA for a fun evening! @newmuseum
So I went to see @asimplefavor on Sunday @rialtocinemasnz Newmarket. It was quite simply one of the best, most engaging, and gripping movies I have seen in forever. An absolute must see. Had me guessing right to the very end. @annakendrick47 and @blakelively are superb combo...I mean two kick ass lead women doing their thing in style! OMG did I mention the style. Anyway the perfect evening, all topped off before we even entered the movie with a dramatic entrance which although unplanned set the tone for the night! Swipe Right to see the drama unfold 😜😉 #firealarm anyone? #evacuation#asimplefavor#greatmovie 👌👍👏
Holy fuck. This was visual a horror movie on LSD. Amazing! I recommend to not read further and go watch it with as little information you got.... for my horror movie lover friends who’s seen it, was this not a horror love baby if Hellraiser and Manson Family got together? The visuals were stunning, totally in the 80s vibe and loved it. The story was a bit predictable but that’s ok. Nicolas Cage was great and funny as well. What a movie 🙌🏽 #Mandy#moviereview#horror#horrorfan#horrorlover#nicolascage#80s#goseeit
I’ve got so many plays I want to see that I generally try not to see the same play twice...but this one is so funny that I had to bring @stop__hammer__time for his birthday present. #BookofMormon is right up there with #PhantomoftheOpera - the only other one I have seen twice (one only because I got to see it in London at the theatre where it debuted). Saw so many people from #yql here today, too.
Thanks to the cast and crew for a wonderful afternoon. I applaud your talents - now that I take dance lessons I can’t fathom dancing and singing at the same time 😳. I bow down to you!
Pretty cool being able to join the premiere of the Dawn Wall last night with this stellar group. So much energy in the room, and awesome to see such a historical moment in Climbing on the big screen. #dawnwallfilm
Check It Out - Support The Arts!
What: "Rembrandt: Painter as Printmaker"
Where: The Denver Art Museum - This exhibition will showcase 100 prints from Rembrandt van Rijn’s career spanning from 1625 to 1665. See amazing images of biblical scenes, portraits, allegory, still life, and landscapes. Take a close look at Rembrandt’s innovative approach to printmaking that combined the three principle methods of intaglio, including etching, drypoint and engraving. New scholarship about the artist will be presented, revealing how Rembrandt intentionally varied the states of his prints, ink, and exotic papers to create rarities that he knew his clients desired, demonstrating how he deliberately manipulated his prints for marketing and storytelling purposes.
While the exhibition focuses on Rembrandt's exploration of printmaking, several paintings and 17 drawings also will be on view to provide additional context about his creative process in all media.#rembrandt#dam#denverart#artshow#museumshows#printmaking#arthistory#goseeit
