My sister and I hold challenge/support groups and it's truly amazing to see the transformations that take place. There are physical changes, yes...that's usually a given.. but the mental changes that sometimes take place are inspiring and motivating and it's why I do what I do. .
That being said....if you ever get a DM from me with an invite...there is no hidden agenda. I simply believe in what I do and want to offer it to EVERYONE!  What I do works and it makes me happy to help and to see positive change! I want to lift you up and not bring you down! .

Have you ever felt the feeling like you’re supposed to do something, but then we find yourself getting distracted with other things that get in the way of moving forward?  That can be true in our life decisions, taking steps toward improving our health, and all kinds of other things.  Don’t stagnate in paralysis by analysis or get immobilized by fears.  Be confident!  If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got... sometimes you just have to be the change you want to see.

This new program is only 30-40 minutes for four days a week, so on those extra long days at work, it’s okay.  I don’t get off schedule and feel like I’m behind when I miss a day. I just pick it up and keep going where I left off.

My wife Kristin will tell me “never miss a Monday” though! So it’s still Monday, you still have time if you need to get yours in too. 👊💪😁

Make success an obligation not an option...

 What does success mean to you?  Do you stop working on your goals because you hit a bump in the road or because it's hard? Do you make excuses for why something doesn't work or do you keep looking for ways that it will work? .

Success doesn't happen overnight. It takes time and hard work....and TONS of failure along the way. The failure is how you learn to succeed. The tricep pushups that I'm doing didn't come easy. When I first started on my journey I could barely do a single pushup on my knees. Obviously, I didn't quit because they were hard...I worked until I could do one, and then two and before I knew it I was doing them on my toes. It didn't stop there tho, I wanted to be able to do those terrible tricep pushups... on my toes and here it is...success!  I'm very proud of that accomplishment. .

When you hit a goal...don't just stop there. You always have to keep setting higher goals and work really hard to achieve them. Success comes from consistency and determination...

 Are you making success an option or an obligation?  Don't live a mediocre life....make it a successful one with no excuses!

Quand je fais mes suivi auprès de mes girls je dis souvent que la constance est probablement l’aspect le plus important pour réussir une de façon positive, mais également le plus difficile. Nous avons tous, en tant qu’êtres humains, de bonnes et de moins bonnes journées. Certains imprévus peuvent survenir dans le quotidien; cela rend parfois la constance plus difficile…it’s the LIFE !!! Il est bien évident que si tu cherches tes résultats, la réponse réside probablement dans cette constance. Si tu n'es pas constante, tu recommenceras sans cesses les même actions sans noter aucune amélioration. Tu te sentiras perdu et tu risques d'abandonner.

Today was a 3x10 round of total body core and I bumped my weights up to heavy for me. I was able to stick with 20s for most of the bicep work at 10s for triceps. Might not sound like much but it is progress for me and I am focusing so much more on quality form over quantity of weights so win for me Today!

I remember exactly how I used to spend my time in the gym....wandering around for {WAY TO LONG} trying to figure out what the heck to do. 💪Do I have an upper body day and then a lower body day?
💪Should I be lifting heavy with less reps?
💪Or should I be doing more reps with less weight?
💪Am I doing this right?
💪Maybe I should just stop at each weight machine and do 10 reps at whatever weight I can? 💥Eventually I would just get out of the weight area and head for an ellipitical.  Throw in my headphones and find something to watch on the TV.  Gosh no wonder I dreaded going to the gym and eventually stopped going! I'm 1/8 of the way through this program! It felt so good crossing off day 10 yesterday.  The accomplishment of conquering something you never thought you could do is astounding! Anyone else's kids come home after you pick them up after work and raid the fridge? We can only do applesauce, carrots and ranch and fruit so many times.

It’s tough working out after a full day of teaching and dealing with behaviors. But I signed up to be in the coaches test group which means following the plan everyday even when I want to give up. 
There is more to gain from committing to a program than just muscles and toning up. It’s knowing that you are mentally strong enough to push yourself on the days that you don’t want to!

Do you find that your kids are kind of like Velcro to you sometimes? It seems no matter where I go in the house they are right behind me, usually wanting to "help" me. 
Anyone who has kids knows how "helpful" they can be, right? But it is just in their nature to want to help because that's how they learn😁. Someone made a comment the other day that it seems that many teachers and nurses become coaches, because they have a nature to want to help people. 
That's really what this coaching thing is all about, wanting to help people. More specifically, help people get to their best selves!

Do you have kiddos that are totally opposite? We have two girls who have completely different personalities. One is very outgoing, sweet, passive but strong willed also. The other is very shy, sneaky, sweet at times but cross her and she'll bite your face off😍 We're hoping that final trait serves her well when she's older. 
I love working out at home and I know the girls have already been taking notes on what I'm doing because they grab the equipment and mimic the moves themselves. I love being that example for them and I love that they are learning some motor planning skills in the process😁. The other day our oldest grabbed her notebook and started "taking notes" on what I was doing and drawing the moves I was doing. The younger one jumped right in and started trying to do the same moves with me.

My kids have never really been picky eaters. They have at least always been willing to try things but I think that's because I have always OFFFERED it to them. 
I didn't in a million years think my kids would enjoy eating this meal but I was eating it the other night and they ate half of it, salad and ALL! It goes to show what an example you can be for your kids. They probably wouldn't have eaten it if I had just set it down in front of them, but because they saw me eating it they tried it. 
It can take many times before your kids are willing to actually take a bite of food of something they perceive as something they won't like. They may smell their food or just touch their tongue to it and then turn their nose up at it. But I'm willing to bet by the 10th time you offer it they may actually eat it. 
Our kids do not have to clean their plates, but they need to sit and eat the majority of their food. At least until I know they're full. I want them to have a good relationship with food. I want them to know that it's okay to not like things, but I want them to be willing to try.

We are T minus 5 Days until it's GO TIME! I'm finishing up my third round of the prequel program and I can't wait to get started on Monday!

When I tell people how I plan my meals they often ask, "Don't you get bored eating the same things?" My answer....NOPE! Guess what else I don't get bored with, putting on my pants and finding they are a little looser. I also don't get bored with feeling fantastic and having more energy! 
I'm not a robot. Of course I change my food up once in a while but I have committed to a program because I want the results I have seen other people get! So I'm going to trust the experts that created it and I'm going to FOLLOW THE PLAN! I just choose to make it easier on myself and save some money and I prep the same things for an entire week. I get a meal plan every week with my meals laid out for me, all I have to do is shop and cook. I could do something different everyday, I get that plan too, it would just take me extra time to prepare. I don't know about you but I would rather use that time for other things!

It appeared that they just glanced at the date on my ID and sent me on my way. That is not the case at our local store. The past few times I have been there they have taken my ID, studied it for a good 15 seconds, raised their eyebrows and commented about how the picture doesn't even look like me anymore. I comment back and say that's what losing 30 pounds will do. 
More importantly than what people see on the outside is how I feel on the inside. Not only did I accomplish something that was soooo hard, but I just feel better in general. Who can't use more energy, better sleep, better digestion and a boost in their mood?
