Ótima Segundaaaa😊😊😊 #travessia#travel#meditacao#instarun#vidavegana#corrida#running#trailrunning#vidalivre#gooutside#vidaoutdoor
It was a striking contrast on the Bertha Falls trail. Blue sky, black trees, green and yellow undergrowth, and patches of snow. TyTy is now too big to pack on my front though, my back easy aching the last half mile something fierce! Up on the blog is a recap of our short hike on Friday.
a moment to absorb and reflect, the congruent beauty and loneliness of silence to introspect, the desert road to the mountains swept with low laying clouds, not a word to be said but its all very loud...
Refusing single use disposable plastics and investing in long-lasting, reusable replacements is one of the easiest things we can all do to help the ocean. Nicole is sharing some ideas over on our blog today - link in profile!
I tried aveluk — wild mountain sorrel, indigenous to certain regions of Armenia — for the first time this summer. I love it! You can use it to make delicious, strong-flavoured salads and heart-warming soups. Villagers come together to harvest it in the spring. They then braid it and let it dry hanging from their roofs. The best part is, you can cook with it all year round! #healthychoices
We spent all day Friday outside. Left the house at 9:30a, went to the Central Park Zoo, ate lunch that we brought with us, hung out in Sheep Meadow, played at the Heckscher Playground, made friends with other kids, met AJ for dinner and then were back on the train home around 7p. The energy it takes for your body to constantly adjust to the temperature, sun/cloud conditions and wind is no joke. There are tiny muscles at the base of each of the hairs on your body, and they only get to work when they have to regulate your body temperature (think goosebumps - each of those bumps is a muscle getting a workout!!). Not to mention the movement in the muscles of the eyes adapting to look over longer distances and absorbing the sun’s vitamin D, or the movement of the muscles within the feet to walk over softer, more uneven terrain (if your shoes are flexible), or the movement of the entire body to keep warm (shivering? rubbing hands together? walking faster? jumping up and down?) if you choose to wear fewer temperature regulating layers. All of this movement is FREE - just by not wearing a coat. Now go for a walk and wear one less layer than normal. #homework
Aku ingin terbang

Mmm, kecuali kalo kamu mau. Gubrak. 🙊
