I usually go for a drive on my lunch break and practice knee driving while I eat and listen to music.
2)i really think this shot looks Miyazaki-esque

Have you been loving our summer series on getting outside?! I have enjoyed researching and digging in deeper to discover all of the unique positive effects that getting outside has on us and our kids!⠀
Recently I had the amazing privilege to take a road trip to the Great White North and see my cousins! Seeing Banff and Lake Louise has been on my bucket list for awhile now (my parents honeymooned there many years ago!😍🇨🇦) and so it was thrilling to see for myself!⠀
Today’s episode (#42 ) is making the case for Saturday Adventures. We certainly had adventures on our Canada trip, but you don’t have to go far to do them with your family! A simple outdoor picnic or day trip to a lake or river will do.
What do you think? Are your weekends full of fun and rest or are you depleted by Sunday night and dreading Monday? ⠀
Listen on Apple podcasts, GooglePlay, Stitcher or tap link in profile!⠀
Slightly greasy ride at #agreementforest with my other half on Sunday.
Picked up a shiny new bruise for my collection thanks to some super slippery rocks but generally enjoyed being out and about with @crankngrind on a gorgeous summer day!
There are some really amazing places in NC. This is rainbow falls in Gorges State Park. It’s beautiful to look at and offers a really great swimming hole to cool off in. However beautiful it may be, this is still a 180 foot cascade, not a water fall where the water leaves the face of the rock and is falling in the air, but a cascade where the water runs over the rock. The rock is not smooth and essentially a 200 foot cheese grater as it was so poetically described to me by a park ranger. Just this year in July (4th) to a crowd of 140 swimmer a 16 year old girl fell in a pool above the falls and was swept over the falls getting caught in the vortex at the base and pinning her body to the bottom. A young man in his 20’s met the same fate when his dog fell in and he attempted to save it. Point is, powerful beauty most of the time has a deadly side. Be mindful of the dangers and obey park signs.

Sometimes I try to imagine how these spots would look like in a 100 years after we all are long gone. And the scene is kinda dark. I brush the thoughts off but I am so happy we live now and not in the unknown wilderness-less future.
"My favorite feature of the OM-D EM-1 Mark II system and PRO lenses is the Image Stabilization (IS). It’s constantly blowing my mind, especially in these types of lighting circumstances. I’ve easily achieved supremely sharp long exposure images of waterfalls handheld at 1-second (and more!) shutter speeds. Considering many of the best waterfall locations require hiking through difficult terrain, it’s not ideal to bring a tripod, but luckily, it’s never a worry." @donalboyd •

Traveler, there is no path.
The path is made by walking.
Traveller, the path is your tracks
And nothing more.
Traveller, there is no path
The path is made by walking.
By walking you make a path
And turning, you look back
At a way you will never tread again
Traveller, there is no road
Only wakes in the sea.
