As the weather gets colder the more I crave smoothie bowls🤷🏼♀️ also it’s over flowing so that’s when you know your smoothie is good! This has been my go to smoothie I have it every week like 5 times a week! It looks like an açaí bowl but there isn’t even açaí in it! It’s purely just the blueberries 👏🏼 this is my last day of break so I am just gonna chill especially after seriously the hardest OTF workout ever! •
1 cup steamed then frozen cauliflower & zucchini
1/2 frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen wild blueberries
1 scoop @vitalproteins collagen
@malkorganics almond milk 🙌🏼

Want the skinny how your skincare routine can support collagen production? Our Melt Moisturizer was just cited by @goop as part of the solution. “Dry skin leads to inflammation, which can harm healthy collagen,” says New York dermatologist Robert Anolik. LINK IN BIO for full article 💫
who ever said we can’t be many things at once? 🤷🏻♀️
sometimes I’m a 👵🏼 who loves 10pm bedtimes + a good yoga class. others, it’s a glass (or lots) of wine + a delicious 🌯.
to me, that’s called living. that’s called understanding your identity.
It’s called...being Human.
It’s okay to like hikes AND aperol spritz AND sleeping early AND dancing late AND plants AND burgers AND many, many things.
oftentimes as we Grow Up we put ourselves in a box. We tell ourselves no cause we “shouldn’t”; cause it’s not “me.” Let’s get out of our heads. Let’s push ourselves out of the box if we have do. Nothing came from being cozy + comfy anyway 🙃🌻#mondaymotivation
Ta daaa. One of our favorite family dinners: tender, flaky, white wine braised pork chops is up on the blog! Sounds fancy, but it’s really easy and delicious. I also have step-by-step videos up in my highlights 🤗

Funny story: It’s weird how I pride myself in NOT being helpful when it comes to physical stuff. I hate helping people pack, unpack, organize, reading directions, owners manuals, things of that ilk. Ugh. My mom needed help organizing for a yard sale before her move to Miami this past summer. I arrived like a super hero sans cape, hands on hips ... and did a lot of pacing around the garage, picking things up, putting things down. I put on a good show. I thought ... My sister saw through my ruse and rolled her eyes. I told her it’s not in my blood to help with such things as I’m not from the mid west. 🤡 I simply don’t relate to pulling up my boot straps and jumping in to help people with these sorts of things (My in-laws luckily have an amazing affinity for this!) BUT, I will always lend an ear to listen when people are in distress. I will always give a big hug, I will listen to you in a room full of people like you’re the only person there. I have deep compassion and empathy - I will always tell you it’s okay to feel what you feel, I’ll always tell you you’re feelings are valid and that it’s okay to feel angry or sad or anything. I will make you laugh. That’s how I like to help. Now if I could only do this for my kids: “Man it up Noah! Stop sucking your fingers.” “Nina! There’s no crying in soccer!” How I did my bowl👇🏽:
Green smoothie bowl with NO bananas! (Yes this is an accomplishment)
1 cup nut milk
1 cold cucumber (chopped)
2 cups frozen spinach
2 pitted medjool dates
2 scoops @vitalproteins vanilla collagen protein powder.
Splash of vanilla extract.
Blend to oblivion and top with whatever the hell you want. My go to was cashews, chia seeds, blueberries and goji berries.
If you’re seeing this add more fruits and veggies to your plate. Your body and your skin will thank you 😊 😘🥑🍏🍊🍋🥦🥒🌶 @alizajsokolow can I get this spread to be permanent in my home please 👏🏼 #mondaymotivation#healthymondayhabits

Had the best weekend eating some delicious ethnic food, connecting with some sweet friends, doing some local shopping. All ready for Monday and the week! I used to follow a very strict Ketosis diet, which gave me very positive benefits. But now, I’m adding in carb days on the weekends, and
more low glycemic index carbs like sweet potatoes and winter squashes during the week, a little more fruit. Even by doing so, I still am in mild Ketosis, which is amazing because I feel the best when I’m in a state of mild Ketosis. I’m currently not focusing on weight loss, but more on intuitive and seasonal eating, and an overall more balanced diet. Still mostly #grainfree But I let myself eat some grains on the weekends.
This smoothie entails all that and reflects how I love to eat these days. .

NEW BLOG POST! The recipe for this butternut squash kitchari and how to do a simple Ayurvedic seasonal cleanse. Link in bio.
Anyone else struggle with seasonal transitions? During these times of elemental change it’s not uncommon to feel a little under the weather or suffer from digestive issues. Luckily, doing a seasonal cleanse can have profound impacts on your digestion and overall health. Today on the blog I’m sharing a super simple and totally doable Ayurvedic seasonal cleanse that you can do any time you need a little reset. As with most things it’s nice to have someone to support you along the way so tag your ideal cleanse buddy below.
Autumn is the season of warm, earthy colors; think deep greens, dark yellows and brilliant oranges.
When you eat foods that are rich in these colors, you are absorbing the vibrational energy of the earth. Fall foods are vibrant, colorful and nourishing.
Autumn is a nice time to slow down and enjoy some internal reflection. Allow this season to be a chance to nurture yourself by eating fresh seasonal foods and living in alignment with nature. 🍂
After a day of travel I could use some kale and a message... but I guess a messaged kale salad will have to do 😂⠀
Travel days can throw your system off a bit. Dehydration. Wonky digestion. Fatigue. Who’s with me?? It always feels good to hit the reset button.⠀
My two top reset tips:⠀
1) HYDRATE - your system and skin take a hit when traveling, especially flying. Aim for 100 ounces of water. It may feel like a lot but I promise your body will thank you. ⠀
2) GREENS - loaded with nutrients and amazing for digestion. Aim for 4-6 cups of leafy greens. You can easily do this with 2 cups (large handfuls) in a smoothie and 2-3 cups as a base of a salad. Sautéing the greens will wilt them and you’ll feel like you’re only eating 1/2 cup. ⠀
What are your favorite reset tips for post travel days? Share you top tips with me in the comments 💛⠀
Who else is sad to see fig season fly away?🎈But that’s what makes Ooooby exciting—the seasonality and variety throughout the different times of the year. On to the next season we go with more fun produce to learn about, taste, and get creative in the kitchen with! 📷: @nutritiouslydelicious_

Reflection ♡ “Be better, not perfect”. Try and put this concept in to your life somewhere and see how it changes your results ♡ I could talk for hours about this. Personally, it’s changed my life. The pressure is off and with less pressure I achieve more. Just do what you can. It’s much easier than trying to be perfect! ♡ #balancenotperfection#bingeeatingrecovery#healthymindset (Photo by Daria Shevtsova)
bearing good thoughts and good fruit 💕 sitting by the window, watching the rain & snacking on @yourfft dried mangoes while getting some work/studying done here in Philly. as someone who has a hard time focusing on one task at a time, I always need something to snack on while I study or read to keep me going. @yourfft is typically my go-to with only one ingredient (💯% JUST the fruit) & no added sugars or preservatives! use code the _fittrio for 20% off your purchase🤩 #snackanywhere#ad
Happy start to a new week. I hope you guys had an amazing weekend! We spent yesterday at the cider mill and at one of my favorite local parks hiking! I love that my kids love being outdoors and being one with nature as much as I do 💫 I made this butternut squash soup last week and it was a hit with the whole family!! It had such a delish flavor to it 🙌🏼 -
Butternut squash bisque gf/v ::
1/2 large sweet onion, diced
4 carrots, chopped
1 large butternut squash
3-4 cups veggie broth
1/2 tsp Himalayan pink salt
1 can full fat coconut milk -
1. Cut squash in half lengthwise and scoop out seeds. Brush with some avo oil and roast face down at 400 for roughly one hour (until fork tender). When done scoop out insides and set aside.
2. In a large pot heat some avo oil and sauté the onion for roughly 5 minutes, then add the chopped carrots, salt, pepper and nutmeg and sauté for another 5 minutes. Add butternut squash and let sauté another few minutes.
3. Add veggie broth and turn heat up until it boils. Once boiling, turn down to a simmer for roughly 10-12 minutes.
4. You can either use a high speed blender to pour soup in and blend until it’s a creamy consistency or I used my @cuisinart immersion blender and it turned out perfectly.
5. Add 1 cup coconut milk to pot and let simmer for a few minutes. When done garnish with whatever you want. I did a drizzle of coconut milk and roasted pumpkin seeds 🍲
**I cut the recipe I made in 1/2 for you guys. We’re a family of 5 and had leftovers**
I hope you guys all enjoy as much as we did! Much love for a wonderful Monday 😘😘
I am willing. I am determined. I am persistent, yet patient. I WILL do the damn thing.

ingredients: organic sweet peppers, balsamic vinegar 🌶 and that’s it ‼️ seasonal ingredients always taste the best, especially when you do the least with them 😍 (aka my kind of food!) baked these at 350F for about 30 minutes ✨
