Started off kissing goodbye to Washington State - Wenatchee National Forest has it all.
Headed down to Mount St. Helens where I almost trod on a snake.... then headed West to Astoria for #goonies day.
We saw the jail (which doubles as a museum), data’s gaff and Mikey’s gaff - which is now owned by quite a miserable quim.
Ended in Portland for food and drinking days commencing from tomorrow morning - I’m gonna wear elasticated slacks for the next few days
“Shi-Shi, do ya love me? “
(-because I love you. )
I don’t know how I have lived this long without seeing the Pacific Northwest, let me just say, IT. BLEW. MY. MIND. The tide pools, the mountains, even the breeze was different, it was something totally new to me. While we were there we camped and had our share of adventuring around. I really loved being able to listen to the ocean while I slept, I had never camped on the beach before, while it did meet my expectations of how much sand I would get every where, it also exceeded my expectations of anything I had about Washington. It was the warm middle to my west coast brownie!
