Me: “I guess you can guess what skirt I’m packing for church tomorrow, right?”
Husband: “That big blue one, right?” .
Well, here I am in “that big blue one” again! 😅
In my defense, I knew I needed a confident outfit for church this morning since my husband and I were filling in at his dad’s church. I was supposed to play the piano for all the music in both services, so believe me, I was quaking in my heels all day!! The morning service went so well that I changed into something more comfortable for the evening service...and then got asked to sing a solo. 😰
Panicking aside, God had been so good to allow my husband and I to serve in a variety of ways recently, and I feel so grateful and blessed!
Hope your Sunday was wonderful! 💜
If you’re looking for me, about 70% of the time you can find me thrifting for children’s books at the nearest goodwill 📍 I just SO believe in the power of a good read aloud. Read alouds have so many benefits for children and all children deserve to be exposed to a diverse selection of books! There are just so many ways to make read alouds accessible and engaging for every child! I have decided that since I’ve made goodwill a second home for myself, that I should start sharing more of my finds with you all, so starting tonight I am going to ~attempt~ to share a #favoritefind on my story each day! Check out my story tonight to get a peak inside this adorable read!
After seeing this @ikeausa shoe cabinet in @sgardnerstyle and @nestingwithgrace homes, I knew I wanted it as our entryway piece. I love it! It took a few tries to style it but I’m pretty happy with this set up. Everything up top was thrifted or gifted 🙌🏻 Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday! #bryganhome
Amazon is kewl. I haven’t sent anything to them in almost 2 weeks since is my side boo , but sales have stayed consistent now and Hopefully with baby steps I can grow this to a larger scale and maybe one day I can have 2 main boos. For now it’s exciting to see the possibilities with this platform. Only downfall is way more returns but that’s part of the hustle.
Totally unrelated to teaching/school supplies, but 💯 related to finding good deals. Target and Goodwill have been my go to stores this summer because who doesn’t love prices that won’t hurt your wallet.
Well I have had some major scores at goodwill recently. These striped pants were only $5 and are so cute and comfy. Then that altar’d state plaid shirt and loose green jacket are making me miss fall so much.
Okay y’all, this purse is my baby. It’s broken, but I honestly think someone with some time could fix it up. I got it in a vintage store in Paris and it’s been my favorite bag I’ve ever had. Please give it a good home so I don’t miss it too much 😭😭😭
