Holy crap everything kills this evening. This is from earlier today when I got my leg workout done. Before this, my church's men's group had decided to do a workout as well, and it was a chest workout at that I hurt...
Good to get back to the gym for a full body workout. I’ve been doing home workouts for the last 10 days or so, not really sure what’s been happening in my days that I haven’t made the gym 🤣🤣but I’ve still been working out so it’s all good. My workout was simple and effective 😊💪🏻:
Squats - 3 x10; bent over rows; 3x10; DB bench press 3 x 10; Romanian deadlift 3 x 10; DB shoulder press 3 x 10; bicep curls 3 x 10 ; tricep kickbacks 3x10 each side and superset of hip abduction/adduction 3x 10 . Felt great afterwords and once the doms calm down il be headed straight back in 😀#igfitness#girlswholift#fitness#squats#fitmum#personaltrainer#gettingmygrooveback#goodpain
Hi beautiful One,
Well I’m well into week 3 of my new life in Oz, the kids are in school. It’s been a big week with big changes for them. I’m in awe at their resilience and ability to adapt so quickly. They seem to have taken everything in their stride so far. The schools they are attending are so much bigger, like ten times bigger. The big one has to catch the bus and the little one is already running off with new friends! They have have been ripped out of their comfortable into a challenging uncomfortable but they have grown and just embraced the change.
I started something new this week too. Nothing as major, not by any means as challenging but it was out of my comfort zone and a challenge. Pilates. I’ve always wanted to be flexible and lean, be agile and able to stretch and feel good. That type of exercise has never been me because of my bodies inability to bend and stretch in the right places I’ve always felt unco and a bit daft because I can’t even touch my toes.
It’s been real interesting watching my body grow, stretch and adapt to the exercises, but gosh it’s hurt. I ache in places I haven’t before and for two days I couldn’t even cough. But the stretching felt so good. It hurt but it was good. My mind wondered to our seasons of growth, the seasons when we are out of our comfort zone, being challenged and stretched. It’s uncomfortable, it hurts but we know the pain is strengthening us and the outcome will be a whole new us! Life is like exercise, our bodies can do so much more than we anticipate, just like in life we can conquer the challenges so much more courageously and more confidently than we imagine! Just like an exercise instructor pushes you past your mind and body limitations God pushes us through the pain of growth and stretching knowing all the time how far we can and actually need to go. He’s like having a 24hr personal trainer. Constantly challenging our mind and spirit, growing us, stretching us, challenging us, preparing us for so much more. Getting us ready for the purpose he has planned for us. But first we need to be fit, strong and ready. Allow the stretch. Embrace the pain. Enjoy the difference....comments👇
I was definitely in shape when I was on a low carb diet. I'm not sure if this was my best but it was at least pretty close.
I have a love/hate relationship with cardio, but it is necessary to an extent to stay lean unless you rely on diet wholly.
My favorite cardio is biking outside, or biking inside/using the stair stepper.
I will sometimes throw HIIT in my regimend if I'm fasted and don't have time for a morning workout (rare), but I always love to keep some form of excercise right after waking up.
You guys, I am OVER THE MOON! This was a truly amazing show and overall experience ❤ Also, Adrian is hands-down the best post-show hugger. Ever. So nice I hugged him twice 🤗

One of our students keen golfer dads have given us some very colourful golf balls to rub under your feet. If you are early to class grab one of these beauties and massage tension out of your feet.
