Happy Sunday everyone! Spend some time with the Lord today! Thank Him because He is our shield!
But you, O Lord, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high.
——Psalms 3:3 NLT——
Day 17: Today I am thankful for self acceptance. It wasn’t always that way. Most days I would look in the mirror and hate what I saw, I would be extremely self conscious about the way that I looked, spoke, walked among many other things. That has all changed, I am confident, I am secure, I know who I am and I LOVE ME. Who would of thought that from looking at me now... We don’t know what people have gone through by just looking at them and we should remember that before passing judgement on someone. I was made in His image and likeness, and so were YOU. You are beautiful and unique, and there are so many good things about you so quiet the low self esteem and redirect it to the most masterful and skillful of them all: our creator 💖 #daysofthanks2018
As Thanksgiving is quickly approaching, I challenge you all to meditate on this scripture with me all week.
When asked what we are thankful for, it is always an easy ‘no-brainer’ ... family, friends, a home, FOOD, & whatever else that may look like for you.
However, if it wasn’t for God, we would not have any of those things. We would not have our amazing families, or the friends that we know we can count on for encouragement, fun times, a shoulder to lean on, or just simple company. We would not have that house to live in to keep ourselves warm and protected, or the comfy bed we unwind in when our bodies get tired from the day. If it wasn’t for Him, we would not have that vehicle to get to and from where we have to go each and every day. We wouldn’t have food to feed our hungry bellies.
He is so good to us.
When we don’t deserve it, He still provides.
No matter how far we run, He’s there to catch us whenever we are ready.. whenever WE are ready. And His love for us never changes!
Giving Him all of our thanks is the absolute least we could do!❤️
It is so easy to be apathetic and passive with our time on this earth.
It is almost the default to get so caught up in the day-to-day and our own busy to-do list that we forget to keep an eternal perspective. ⭐️This verse reminds me that I have a higher calling, an ETERNAL and HOLY calling. I am a daughter of the king.⭐️ Here is a challenge for you today: ✨Keep an ETERNAL perspective!
Don’t stay in your tiny bubble of earthly tasks. Think of how you can do kingdom work, today. You can be content and productive here while also keeping your eyes focused outward on others and upward towards God. 🙋🏼♀️TAG SOMEONE who needs to remember they are a daughter (or son) or the King! 👸 🤴 👑

I have just come home from a wonderful weekend with Brad celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary (yes it’s early, December is too busy!) We have always made time together a priority. When we got married the number one tip from pretty much everyone was “have a date night.” They meant once a week, and it was so easy at first and got harder and harder as time went on, as each baby was born.
Marriages are common, but happy marriages are less common, and become less and less common as time goes on.
I put the key to my happy 15 years down to our view of marriage - it will be hard work and requires attention. We’ve seen councillors, we’ve done courses. We’ve maintained our marriage like one would maintain a car to keep it roadworthy. And it’s paid off for us.
If you’re in a marriage now and want to be happier and make it a success, my advice is to roll up your sleeves and do some hard work. Because on the outside it looks easy but it’s not. And it’s worth it in the end. “Love never gives up.
Love cares more for others than for self.
Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have.
Love doesn’t strut,
Doesn’t have a swelled head,
Doesn’t force itself on others,
Isn’t always “me first,” Doesn’t fly off the handle,
Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others,
Doesn’t revel when others grovel,
Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth,
Puts up with anything,
Trusts God always,
Always looks for the best,
Never looks back,
But keeps going to the end.”

Sunday is our filling station stop to fuel us for the rest of the week, but we can make sure we are filling up on truth and soul-food throughout the week, wherever we go. 🎧 One way is downloading the @morepreciousuk podcasts (latest ep: Friendships Celebration vs Competition) for the bus ride, walk home or even to make the washing up feel more worthwhile! •

I spent 20 minutes on this... had no idea what I was gonna do and this is what came out. So no amount of bad lighting or smearing letters is gonna keep me from posting it! 😅. You know sometimes, if you just start, the ideas flow as you work and you end up with something cool! So even if you don’t know what to do, it’s worth starting! You never know what you can create at the drop of a hat if you wait for an idea to put pen to paper ☺️💗. Just start.
Most of these letters are in my Print for Every Occasion Lettering Guide!
Click the Link in my Bio to check out my guides! And for the month of November I’ll be running a sale for 20% off every Sunday and Monday on my guides! .

So many of us think we have to be perfect—that we need to hold it all together, all of the time. But, God doesn't ask you and me to be perfect. Instead, He asks us to do the opposite and acknowledge we aren't perfect and never will be! .
Isn't that a freeing reality?
It's when you and I recognize that we can’t do it on your own that we begin to see Jesus as our Savior. Faith in Christ invites us to renounce perfection because faith lets us receive God’s strength and rest in His opinion of us. .
If you are struggling to hold it all together today, give up. Let it go. Rest in Him and in whom He made you to be. There is no better place to be.
