This past week has been crazy. Everyday is full of things to be thankful for, but yesterday I found myself saying on more that one occasion, “There is much to praise the Lord for”. He is faithful, generous and sovereign. Some of those things were big and some were smaller, but all point to His provision.
One of those things is that we found a place to stay for when we leave in just a week! And we are really excited about it.
Praise the Lord for what He has done, and what He is going to do... and have confidence.

Isaiah 43:1 “Don’t fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine.” ⠀
I don’t know about you but the enemy is on my back and I’m speaking these words over my life, my children’s lives, my family and friends lives. Who can you speak this over today? ⠀
God actually commands us not to fear, or worry. The phrase “fear not” is used at least 80 times in the Bible, most likely because He knows the enemy uses fear to decrease our hope and limit our victories.⠀
In every battle we face, fear is our fiercest enemy — and the enemy of our souls knows it.⠀
“God wants us to believe His love, walk in His love, and be mentally at peace. He doesn’t want us to live tormented by fear’s driving thoughts that lead to so much worry and stress. God has larger shoulders than we do, and He wants to carry our concerns for us. But we have to mentally hand them over to Him. We have to cast our cares on Him in prayer (1 Peter 5:7). We cannot control the uncontrollable, but we can entrust all of it to God. God doesn’t sleep or slumber, so sometimes I jokingly say, “If you see the devil, tell him I’ve gone to bed,” but really, I’m not joking (Psalm 121:4). If God isn’t sleeping, and He’s watching over me, then there’s no sense in both of us staying up. I know I can trust God to take care of all that I cannot control.”⠀

🎼 Taste of Eternity 🎼
Father, we come so aware
Of all that You've done
Of all that You are
No, none compare
So Father, we come here
The taste of eternity
Is here on our lips
With every breath we sing
With every breath we sing of Your majesty
It's here in our midst
With every breath we sing
All else will fade
As You draw near
All that we want
Is all that You are
No, none compare
So Father, we come here
Oh, how holy
Oh, how worthy
A great reminder from Bellarive, to sing of God's Majesty, and remember Who is Holy and Worthy of Praise! 👆

I used to think I was strong. Then God shower me more and more that only He has the power and I need Him. .
Read Isaiah 40. This is God. This is now mighty He is. This is His sovereign awesome power. And only through Jesus, both God and man, can we be the kids of God the Father! .
Isaiah 40:12-15,17-18 KJV
Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance? Who hath directed the Spirit of the Lord , or being his counsellor hath taught him? With whom took he counsel, and who instructed him, and taught him in the path of judgment, and taught him knowledge, and shewed to him the way of understanding? Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance: behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing. All nations before him are as nothing; and they are counted to him less than nothing, and vanity. To whom then will ye liken God? or what likeness will ye compare unto him?
Meet Kat! Kat didn’t make her children’s well check visit back in July, she waited until August & all the appointments were full. Kat got stuck with the 7:30am & 8am appts. All of Kat’s kids had to get up extra early to drop off the oldest child at a friend’s so they could make their appts. All the children were tired & cranky...a two of them had to get shots before school. Don’t be like Kat, be a responsible mom make those well check way in advance, your children will thank you!
This credenza used to be a super UGLY oak wood (think quintessential 80/90s🤢) and was passed down to me by my mother who wouldn’t let me get rid of it (trust me I tried🙄). ➕ For over 5 years I’ve done EVERYTHING I could to make it fit into my design aesthetic (I’m vintage glam with minimalist tendencies) ➕ More recently I realized that I was doing the same thing in my home that I was with my business, friendships, job, clothes, hair etc. I was trying to make something that worked for someone else, work for me. ➕ I was making myself miserable by not operating in my gifting (in this case DIY and restoring old furniture) and being overly cautious about how it may LOOK to someone else. ➕ One day I decided to take ownership and quit playing victim➕ I took my favorite @anniesloanhome chalk paint and went to work. Switched out the unsightly handles and fell in love with a piece I used to hate. ➕ I’ve painted 5 large hand me downs since then (1 over the weekend that’s still in the works (swipe!)) and now Mama T could care less! ➕ Look at God!! ➕ 😍 Be yourself y’all. Seek God, get quiet, learn, know, and believe what works for YOU and trust that you were created this way for a reason. ➕ Oh, and Hi my name is Sethie and I love home decor and refurbishing old furniture. 👋🏾😊🙈💅🏾 #lovesethie#homedecor
“How precious to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I would count them, they are more than the sand. I awake, and I am still with you.”⠀

Take comfort in the fact that God is always with you and he hears you when you call to Him. He’s with you in the joyful moments, He’s with you through the struggles, He delights in hearing from you!
This past week I was watching an interview with TD Jakes and he said something that really stuck with me and, in all honesty, shook me to my core! 😭⠀
He was talking about entrepreneurship in such an impactful way and he said: “That’s what business is, a machine to reach your dreams” - TD Jakes ⠀
Girlll, that stuck with me because I realized it’s SO true! Everything I’ve ever done in business has been to reach my dreams. Every goal, launch, new thing, has always been to ultimately fulfill those dreams I once prayed for and have become a reality. 🙌⠀
There are still so many more dreams I’ve yet to see fulfilled but at least I know that I’ve found the way to make them happen! So, don’t give up on your dreams, keep pushing and keep working that machine, that business, that talent, that one thing only you can do! You will see your dreams fulfilled! ❤⠀

I AM WORTHY!👸🏼 .
I have to keep reminding myself that I am worthy of life because of what Christ has done in my life. ✝️ I am by no means, worthy at all on my own, but it is because of the grace God has showed to me that I am worthy. I have messed up and done things I fully regret ✖️, but God takes all those things and carries my burdens. God calls me His daughter and in Him, I am made worthy. 👑 .
I want to challenge you to find one thing about yourself that you are truly grateful for today. And then choose a different thing tomorrow and the next day and the next… and see what God does with it! 🌈

Your love is boundless, it is unshakeable. It is wild and reckless when needed, but it is also steadfast and calm. Lead with love for your people that you serve, that work with you, that are around you. I have always had such a passion for the local church and I especially do now today in a culture that frowns upon it. No one wants messiness that comes with it. The commitment to something that could ultimately hurt them at some point if they are too committed. I learned to not only be OK with the messiness of people, but I embrace it. We are ALL messy and a little weird, but radical transformation will never, EVER happen in your life unless you get through the mess first! Commit to community, commit to finding people in your life that can call you out on your own mess. Commit to worshipping without holding back. Let’s love people again.
Tomorrow has stolen many Christians joy for today. Are you letting that happen to you? I all too often take my focus away from God and start worrying and trying to figure out all of the answers for tomorrow when I still don't even have all of the answers for today. You can't enjoy life trying to figure out all the pieces of the puzzle when you don't even have half them. God's got all of the puzzle pieces. Focus on today and let God build your life little by little and piece by piece.

Throwback to our Masungi Georeserve Adventure, one of my best adventures and def one for the books!! 💯
This giant rope hammock is suspended thousands of feet above the rainforests of Rizal and it can hold up to 100 people. I’m an acrophobic, but knowing its strength and capacity made me feel safe and secure. 😌
Know what's way greater than this? Someone out there holds the whole universe in the palm of His hand. He is the Rock that can never be shaken. The omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent Maker of heaven and earth. In Him we live and move and have our being. And above all, He loves you. ❤️ Thus, whatever you are facing right now, always remember He got not only your back but your whole being and your whole situation!! God is in control my friend. 💪🏻😊 So why not trust Him? 😉
|but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8 ESV|
Have you ever stop and thought about what God did for us? He sent His only son into this world to become mock, beaten, and hung up on the cross at Calvary. While we mocked and spat at Him while he was nailed upon the cross He was dying for our sins. He was making a way for us to go to Heaven. It is truly incredible. The fact that He would do that for us. "While we were still sinners, Christ Died for us." Thank Him today for what He did for you.
I understand Peter’s reaction. It’s a knee-jerk reaction to want to get as far away from God when we’re aware of our sinfulness. That running away and hiding instinct started in the Garden. •
But Jesus changed everything... •
Because of what He did, we no longer need to fear. We can leave everything that separates us from God, and follow Him. •
Heavenly Father, I will not walk in fear today. I will kick fear out of the door…give it the boot. I know that You will guide me as I walk in obedience today. If my act of obedience appears to result in a failure, I know that it is not, because obeying you is the ultimate success regardless of the apparent outcome. Oh Lord, I breathe in peace and exhale worry. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Tag a friend who could use a word of encouragement today to TRUST GOD no matter what she is facing.
If you have trusted Jesus Christ, you are now located IN Him. In previous posts I’ve written much about this priceless location that the Apostle Paul speaks of that is so often passed over in the church today.
This pic is the woman at the well. Jesus approaches & offers her salvation & total satisfaction in the way of Living Water that will always fill her, quench her thirst & be totally sustainable for her. In other words He offers her Himself, 100% Himself, as the One who will revolutionize her life from this point on. Can you see the question mark upon her face. After her encounter with Him she has no more questions. She just can’t wait to tell the others in her locale...She could be a picture of humankind & she could be a picture of the church...

Matthew 5:43-47, Mark 12:31, John 13:34-35
Prayer: Lord, help us to LOVE OTHERS the way You loved us. Help us to be willing, able and equipped to sacrificially love others in ways we may never thought possible. Grow within each of our hearts a love, especially for our enemies and those who persecute us. Allow our love for others and one another to be PROOF we belong to Jesus Christ, bringing glory to the one true God. Father, where our love for others has waned in the past, or not been evident, show us. Call us to repentance and in some cases reconciliation. Where seeds of disbelief have been sewn in the hearts of others, perhaps because we were not reflecting Jesus and His love, allow those seeds to be plucked up. Replace the empty spot with a seed of Christ’s true and pure love, in the ways we choose to love those within proximity, this day and every day after. In the Name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.
He stooped down to lift me out of danger from the desolate pit I was in, out of the muddy mess I had fallen into. Now he’s lifted me up into a firm, secure place and steadied me while I walk along his ascending path. Psalm 42:TWO🖤

He Calls Me Beautiful One was created with mission to serve as a resource for women as they shed the expectations of an ideal woman and clothe themselves with the grace and identity that Christ offers.⠀
It is a place that values women and their experiences (or stories) by creating a space for them to share, express, create, and grow from one another.⠀
This is an invitation to live in the reality of Christ's love, growing in our ability to see ourselves as (Christ sees us) beautiful, favored, chosen, redeemed, and transformed.⠀
It is a group of women saying: Let’s create something beautiful together, something that will be a reminder to whisper to ourselves the truth that “He Calls Me Beautiful One.”⠀
Will you join us on our journey?
Kostenlos. Und alles was ER von dir will ist ein kleines bisschen Glauben. Nur ein bisschen. Ganz, ganz bisschen. Behalte dein Geld.
I was challenged today, by the story of Rahab, to think about how God has shown His generous grace in my life.
Rahab was not one of God's people. She had no real right to expect His favor on her. And yet she had heard of the wildly generous grace of this Yahweh, the One who had parted the Red Sea to set His children free, and she believed that a God who loved His people so much must be a God who could love her.
And this, I think, is the greatest grace of all - the greatest grace I have ever been offered, other than being born again: To know God for who He is.
He does not just leave me to endure the hard things on my own, wondering if He'll show up or not - no, He uses even the darkest valleys of my life as invitations to draw me closer to His heart, to show me who He is. His reputation so precedes Him that, like Rahab, I can go into life's most terrifying circumstances with the confidence that the same God who has been at work every moment since the foundation of the world is the God who loves, cherishes, and protects me.
This guy here though🙌🔥
Jesus said this one line that has always stuck with me. He said "many are called, but few are chosen."
I can't speak for Jesus, but I can say that this guy is one who lives as if he is chosen. He isn't afraid to declare what Jesus has done, he isn't phased with conforming to what others tell him to be.
I'm inspired by how he lives 🤯
I'm inspired to stay passionate. I'm inspired to remain authentic. I'm inspired to rely on the Holy Spirit more than my own competencies. I'm inspired to lead & disciple better because of this guy.
Sometimes the biggest leadership lessons learned are taught by those you are leading.
Don't be so prideful that you miss what God is trying to teach you from those younger, less-experienced, or less-qualified than you.
Bro, you are going to transform your world.🔥🌏
Something that’s been on my heart...
“And God spoke all these words, saying, ‘I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. You shall have no other gods before me.’” (Exodus 20:1 - 3)
In the days that our God freed the nation of Israel from Egyptian oppression, He gave them a law to follow. The first commandment was that Israel serve no god before the One True God. (My Bible (ESV) adds this footnote to the word “before”: “Or ‘besides’.”)
In those days, each nation had a god—or several gods—it served. There were literally hundreds of different gods out there to choose from. But the God of Israel’s first commandment to His people is that He needs to be served exclusively.
Today in North American culture, I am not faced with other gods the same way the Israelites were. Sure, there are other religions, but they aren’t a temptation for me personally. Yet there are other things that I have allowed to rule my life.
Whatever is my “god” is what has power over me. I personally have a deep-seated need for others approval. Because I need this approval, others’ opinions have an unhealthy power over me.
So how do I deal with this? Well, the only way to displace a lesser god in my life is to put the Almighty God back in His place—FIRST.
It’s not enough to have nothing more important than God. It’s not enough to have no other gods before Him; I also cannot have any other gods BESIDES Him.
“No other gods” means any & all gods. I can’t have anything equal to God in my life. I can’t have anything above God in my life. God has to be over & above everything else, including myself. Including my thoughts. My heart. My feelings. My perspective. My all.
So easy to say, and quite another to do. What are some things you find creeping into God’s place in your heart?
