It’s #avocadoday and we’re sharing the love for this superfood today! 🥑🥑🥑
Avo slices on toast with just a sprinkle of sea salt and squeeze of lemon is divine, as is avocado chunks in any salad or salad bowl. Add a few slices to tacos to brighten it up, or mash it into guacamole with generous amounts of lime and scoop up with chips. Blend it into salad dressings, dips (avo hummus anyone?) and smoothies, or use in low fat vegan desserts. The options are endless!! What’s your favourite way to eat avocados? #goodfoodpractices .

Some ideas: 🥕sauté greens of root veggies like beetroot, carrot, radish with some garlic and olive oil; or blend into a pesto 🍠 save up vegetable peels (and even Parmesan rind!) and boil with water to make an easy broth 🍊save up citrus peels by freezing and zest when required 🍎 apple peels dusted with cinnamon and baked make for excellent crisps
