The par 4 9th at Friars Head May have been my favorite. A tough tee shot from an elevated tee box to a narrow fairway absolutely surrounded by waste bunkers and dunes. The green finishing right in front of the stunning clubhouse on the Long Island Sound gets you fired up for another 9🏌🏻♂️⛳️
He did it! 🐅Tiger Woods wins a PGA Tour event for the first time since 2013. Woods finished 11-under par for the weekend, two strokes clear of his nearest challenger Billy Horschel to take his 80th PGA victory 🏆
Had a great time assisting @stigelow @kev_in_carr and @vinny_talluto with another @certifiedfsc Level 1 course this weekend.
Great organization and a great group of fitness professionals there raising the bar for the industry!
In the future the golfers will be asking each other this iconic question: Where were you when Tiger Woods caped his comeback?
I am obviously in the other continent, so followed the Tour Championship finale via television with my beloved one until the 12th hole, but the flu took over and went to sleep. I saved the rest and watched the grande finale today, still coughing and sneezing.
Tiger Woods is amazing athlete! After multiple back surgeries and after suffering of all kinds of difficulties, he has worked very hard to get back and plays now as beautiful as ever! A true champion in every sense of the word.
I was particularly touched by the outpouring of support Tiger received from fans. Thousands of spectators engulfed him on his walk to victory while chanting and cheering his name, and I bet by the television there were millions, holding their breath as I was.
Spectacular, absolutely stellar game Tiger Woods played, 80th PGA tour victory, hats off!
