These are tofu “bacon bits” and I can’t stop eating them 😬 #goingvegan Super simple...half block drained extra firm tofu, diced, 2 T Bragg’s aminos, 1 tsp liquid smoke, 2 tsp Brown sugar and some pepper. Marinate and fry it up! They mainly will just add that smoky, salty flavor to whatever you use them for.

Be careful who you spend your time with. Who you worship or follow on social media. Are they glorifying an “easy” life of vacationing, food consumption, and consumerism. That can only lead to suffering in the end. Try to spend your energy studying and changing habits that hold you back. Wake up, make your bed, have water with lime and charcoal, detox the body, meditate, have a clean meal, start your day with productivity, and watch how the mind is effected by that. Pay attention to the internal temperature of your mind and body. Build your emotional fortitude for the real work. From our first inhale(inspiration) and our last exhale (expiration ) is where life happens. Try to imagine that kind of opportunity in each breath we take. The creation of something on the inhale and the letting go of something we don’t need on that exhale. Change is work. But it’s the road to freedom. Freedom from the suffering in the mind that holds us all captive. Stop paying attention to your thoughts that don’t serve you. You are listening to an organ that lives in the dark. Literally! 🧠 the brain is always in the dark. Your skin, your breath, and your body are all touched by light. Live in that light. #Namaste

This is me... 2 days before my show, and 5 days ago now. If you have a vision, do not let anyone or anything said take you down or away from what you truly believe in... what works for you may not work for others, and that's okay, but just because someone says "you should live life and not do this again" does not mean I won't keep doing the things I love to be the way I choose... sorry, but my lifestyle is built around an illness I need to be mindful of daily and nutrition/exercise has been the best way to heal my body... Ok. Those that follow me probably know I focus mostly on dogs, particularly shelter dogs. However, I do not make it a secret I am #vegan and most have undoubtedly detected an undercurrent of #veganism running beneath the majority of my posts. I would not kill or harm any other sentient being unless I had no other choice, and making the decision to not pay others to harm and kill animals for me was quite simply the best decision I ever made. And that's why I talk about it. Well, the main reason I talk about it is that there are billions of animals currently and constantly suffering, crying out for their mothers and babies, and being brutally slaughtered in #factoryfarms and #slaughterhouses around the world. It is a nightmare beyond reasoning, and the worst part of it is that it's all. completely. unnecessary. But I also know that #goingvegan causes the least amount of harm to the environment and I strongly believe that a whole foods, plant based diet is BY FAR the healthiest way to live and a #veganlifestyle would improve immeasurably the life of anyone who adopted it. So I talk about it primarily for the animals.. but I also care deeply about the planet, my fellow humans and future generations. So I speak whenever I can. The animals voices, alas, go unheard behind the slaughterhouse walls. I feel the least I can do for them is speak on their behalf since I funded their suffering and death like most of us for most of my life.

Typical Vegan🌱 Dinner in our house these days 😍 - Going vegan is one of the best choices I have made in my life and my Family. So what's in the bowl? Loads of Kale dressed with apple cider vinegar and tahini, avocado, mushrooms, homemade hummus! Black beans, broccoli, pumpkin seeds, tomatoes and cucumber!! I would have never thought about eating all of that.. Vegan lunch 🤗 BBQ tofu, sweet potato, guacamole, spinach, chopped bell pepper all in a wrap! I'm slowly easing myself into the vegan lifestyle doing 2 whole meals a day. I was honestly SUPER skeptical about tofu and I know A LOT of people are (including my husband!) But I watched a lot of YouTube videos on how to cook it and what to cook it with and I found a way I actually really like it.
