Dogs. Such a blessing and so fun. I did go through a time when I was way too dependent on my dog for happiness. I felt like I had to have him by me for security, but all I need is Jesus for security. I’ve learned that dogs are a HUGE blessing when they don’t dominate your life. They move without obsession. They rest without feeling guilty for it. They are totally comfortable in their own skins. I think God’s creatures have so much to teach us about trusting God, living life in freedom, and stopping to smell all the beautiful roses along the way.
This one is actually my sisters dog Apollo. I thought he looked pretty noble so I just had to take a picture. How many animals do you have? #animals#huskies#recoverythoughts
🕷When you live a truly compassionate life even the smallest of creatures are valuable to you. 🐜Today at work 3 little creatures came to visit my office (an ant, a slater and a spider). All 3 have lives they want to live, all 3 have families, all 3 experience pain and all 3 have a purpose. I used to disregard their lives as having no value and would not think twice about squashing them, until I became a vegan 7 years ago. At that time my eyes were opened. I now know that we are all the same except we are different species. We all have brains and a central nervous system. If I feel pain then they would feel pain also. Choosing to not contribute to the suffering of any creatures any more gives me a greater compassion and peace within my spirit. 🐀We've been having a little visitor at home leaving it's droppings (call card...lol) for us to find. 🐕My Fozzie(pictured here) has been going crazy trying to find it without any luck. We have catch and release traps to allow our visitors an opportunity for a safe exit. The first night the little mouse pushed the solid back out and escaped. 👀The next night I saw it going in to get the cereal inside. It did a couple of back and forward laps then successfully pushed the latched door up to escape. Last night again I saw it going in and jumped on the trap to keep the lid down. We took it up to nearby bush to let it out so it can continue to live its life. 🐀We discovered that it was a little hopping mouse. It made me so happy to see it discovering its freedom. We have given it an opportunity to live another day. I'm so grateful that I value all life now, and have the power to set all creatures free.
💚Choose to live a compassionate life and see the benefits it affords you and others.. it's truly an amazing life to live!
Yes I forced myself on him! 🤣 Because beautiful creatures teaches us how to love without judgement. How wonderful are pets to teach us how to love unconditionally in return? Bless your animals God. This kingdom belongs to you alone Abba. #godscreations#godscreatures#petsshowusunconditionallove
We came across this little fella. Even a turtle knows to stay in the moment. As the turtle knows that as each forward step it takes... It is closer to where it was longing to go. Shielded by a shell so tough that not even itself can escape. Its a beautiful part of nature expressing love an strength an courage. To me a symbol to stay at your own pace. Its not a race.. To be in the NOW! An to take one step at a time. To have balance an to be centered. To trust that we are right where we are meant to be. To shine light on others to help lift up. In times of need. To give thanks to all the above an to send love to anything and everything around us. To always be present to encourage one another an to truly come from a place of heart. God is all around us an within us. Sending love
Thank you for capturing this moment! 🐢❤🙏💫 #naturephotography#nature#light#godscreatures#turtles#turtlepower#beauty#awareness#unconditionallove#grounding#signs#peaceful
