It is a gorge in Yoshino-Kumano National Park, and designed as the special natural beauty spot of the country
In a 🌧 ☂ ☔️ day like this ramen will be perfect. This is a local ramen prepared with local vegetables, shrimps and miso produced in Kiwa area, in Kumano City. The name of the dish is 紀和味噌山海ラーメン (Kiwa miso Sankai Ramen ➡️ Mountains and seas Kiwa miso ramen) that reflects Kumano unique geography in which towering mountains meet the sea 🍜 🦐 🍄🥦🥕

Along the Chikuma River, the small town of Obuse prospered as a hub of trade and agriculture. Its idyllic charm even attracted one of Japan’s most famous wood block print artists, Katsushika Hokusai, to stay here in his later years. Among the temples, breweries, and cafes here, you can find remnants of his life and work.
