As cheesy as this sounds, but I write this down in every single page of notes for work or lifting log or anything that I do. Keeps me motivated and reminds me of what I need to do to be and stay successful. Something I can look back at when I’m struggling. When they say it helps to look at your goals or motivation. It really does. I’m no motivation speaker and all, but if you’re low, struggling or have a small set back that keeps you up at night, try writing down your “why” every morning. Get yourself a small journal (yes you men too) and I promise it’ll change the way you look at your goal. It’s not just something you writing, it’s something you envision and can look at when you feel like quitting.

WHY YOU ARE NOT IN THE SHAPE YOU WANT TO BE IN? .
If you feeling frustrated and wondering why despite all your efforts, you are not able to get the body you want, chances you are not following the 5 important things listed below: .
. 1. GET SPECIFIC - first things first --- you need to get as clear as possible about your goal. Having a vague goal such as losing weight or getting stronger is not going to cut it. For instance, instead of just aiming for weight loss, aim for a specific number that is realistic and achievable. Or a strength based goal could be to get to 120kg on the deadlift ---- and so on! .
. 2. FEEL IT - Imagine you have already achieved your goal body and focus on how you would feel once you have achieved it. Focus on the feeling day in and day out. This is will help you stay excited and motivated just as you did the first day you started working towards that goal. .
. 3. PLAN IT - Figure out what would actually get you there. Create a plan of action taking training and nutrition in to consideration. Without a plan, you are not getting anywhere. If this requires hiring a professional, a fitness coach, nutritionist/dietitian, etc. --- then do it. Make a plan that you can stay consistent with for at least 3 months to see the progress you have been wanting. .
. 4. SET A DEADLINE - a goal without a deadline is useless. I would suggest setting a deadline that is 3-6 months away and then work your way backwards and set smaller and shorter deadlines that will get you closer to that bigger goal of yours .
. 5. SET IT IN YOUR CALENDAR - Make sure you mark of your calendars with your days of training, meal prepping, check-ins, strength tests, etc. Just as you schedule a meeting or an appointment, get in the habit of scheduling all your goal related tasks as well to keep you on top of everything. .

When a goal starts to look unattainable, don’t change your goal, change your action steps.
Tomorrow is the start of Fall term again. One step closer to being the first in my family to earn a degree from a university (unless Chaston beats me) lol. Going to school while being a mother (a mom of 3) and working 40+ hours a week is tough! More than halfway there and I won’t give up. Anything is possible when you put your mind to it.
Tomorrow is also the start of our fit for fall group. 21 days of sweat and dedication. I’m so excited to continue to build a business that has provided me the tools to take control of my fitness and mental health. Self development has made such an impact on my outlook in life and how I share my energy with others. We may not have control of circumstances all the time but we control our thoughts and feelings. The energy we put out and how we react to the energy we receive.
I’m ready to finish 2018 strong.
Self discipline is a must when it comes to being successful in all things and that includes day trading. One key way to keep yourself on the right path is to condition yourself with rewards and punishments. I wasn’t self disciplined while trading this week so my punishment is to run 3 miles with this 20lb weight vest on. In business and in life, we're constantly weighing our options for going in one direction over the other. For instance, you may be in a situation with a high-paying job when an opportunity presents itself to start a new company in a new market. Sure, you can stay at the high-paying job and maintain that sense of security or you can take a chance with the business venture. If you're seriously considering starting the company, then you should define what it means to be successful versus staying in that cushy job. If it means that your business is a failure unless you start the next Instagram or Pinterest, then chances are you should stay at your current job. If, on the other hand, it's a success if you start the business, generate revenue, gain customers, prove the model and make a living for yourself, then that's a different story. My point is that you want to set a reasonable expectation for what success will be for you so you don't find yourself hitting your head against the wall wishing you had done things differently.
