Why do places not have just a simple cacao and banana smoothie? Honestly it’s all I want. This Pink Pitaya really didn’t hit the spot at all.... It looks pretty though? Also hated that I didn’t have a mug in the car to use but I really wanted a smoothie 😭 Shoulda dined in. I was in a mood though soooo I wasn’t really thinking. #justbeinghonest 😂
Friday night /pizza night. Best gluten free vegan pizza I've had so far...... I've set myself a mission. To test all the #glutenfree#vegan pizzas I can find and report back.
TBH I've not reported back on the first two coz the the first one turned out not to be vegan and the second one while def vegan was so poor I couldn't bring myself to write about it. Or to disappoint my long suffering partner who was so pleased with himself for Hunter gathering something I could actually eat..... So this, my first report is infact the third attempt at starting this.
The ques outside #francomanca#cambridge should have put me of but I was unusually patient in my pizza quest.
We waited out side for about 20 mins before getting seated but it was a Friday night. 4 pm in the afternoon seems like the best time to go if u are not patient. !
The toppings system is weird there is no list of available toppings but the staff are helpful and will tell you , I guess u just have to guess the price..... or ask if u are on a budget... I went for tomatoes and basil swapped the mozzarella for vegan cheese and added aubergine artichoke and wildmushrooms.... This was definitely the best gluten free base I have had. Still not quite the perfect pizza base but with out the stickiness of gluten it is hard..... I know it's not traditional but I like a bit more topping on my pizza but that my only complaint. They use good quality ingredients many #organic and all their wine is organic and vegan too so I was a happy bunny and almost felt like a normal person going out for a pizza and a glass of wine on a Friday night!

👩🏻🍳поставит духовку разогреваться на 180 градусов 👩🏻🍳Овсянку в пульсирующем режиме пробить блендером с Sобразным лезвием. Чтобы не совсем в муку. 👩🏻🍳В миске смешать овсянку и все ингредиенты кроме фруктов. Проучится такая масляная крошка.
👩🏻🍳Нарезать фрукты 👩🏻🍳В форму застланную пекарской бумагой насыпая половину наших «крошек», затем кусочки фруктов и сверху засыпать оставшейся частью «крошек» (см в карусели фото «до духовки») 👩🏻🍳Отправить в духовку на 40 минут
👩🏻🍳 Подавать слегка остывшим или совсем остывшим

I was lucky enough to taste some of Stream’s delicious focaccia at a Kindy festival and after asking for the recipe he told me he has a book full of recipes! The first thing we made was the corn fritters and they were so good we’re making them again. I’m looking forward to testing other recipes too- there’s breads, focaccia, pancakes, cakes, biscuits and more, all gluten free and all activated- making them highly nutritious as well as delicious.
The book is very easy to follow, beautifully presented and very inspiring.

FOR THE CRUST
1 cup pitted Medjool dates (room temperature)
1 cup pecans, ground
1 teaspoon ground flax
1 teaspoon melted coconut oil
1/4 teaspoon Himalayan salt
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 packet FlavaMix
FOR THE FILLING
1 1/2 cups raw cashews, (soaked overnight for 8+ hours)
3/4 cup maple syrup
1 13.5 ounce can full-fat coconut milk (use only the cream portion)
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon Himalayan salt
3-4 packets FlavaMix
FOR THE CRUST
Add all of the ingredients into a food processor and blend for 30-45+ seconds. The mixture should be pliable and on the sticky side.
Press the mixture into 5-6 four-inch springform or cheesecake pans and set in freezer. (I placed mine on a cookie sheet so they could balance in the freezer better). .
FOR THE FILLING
In a food processor (or blender), add all of the ingredients and blend on high for about 30-60+ seconds until the mixture is completely smooth and well combined.
Remove crust from the freezer and pour the filling mixture into the pans.
Freeze for at least 3 hours before serving.
Creamy Tahini Porridge with rose water, pistachio and figs 💖

I found figs at the market the other day and got so excited. Have been eating them since like there is no tomorrow, adding figs to everything. My breakfast was no exception.
This recipe is inspired by my mother in law’s rose water rice pudding. Creamy tahini and rose water give this porridge an exquisite taste. Here is a recipe.
Creamy Tahini Porridge
1 cup of rolled oats
1 1/2 cups of water
Pinch of salt.
Bring the oatmeal to a boil. Add 2 tbs of tahini. 2 tsp of rose water. 1/4 cup of soy or almond milk. Reduce heat and cook for 10 min stirring occasionally. Add 2 tbsp of maple syrup.
Tahini butter with dates:
In a food processor, mix 6 pitted dates with 4 tsp of hot water, add 2 tbsp of tahini. Mix until smooth. Serve on top of your porridge with figs and pistachios. Drizzle with some more tahini sauce. Dig in!
