Cinnamon Roll Protein Shake

Servings - 1

INGREDIENTS
Ice - 130 grams
Almond milk - 250 milliliters
Vanilla greek yogurt - 90 grams
Cinnamon - 1 teaspoon
Banana - 65 grams
Vanilla protein powder - 2 tablespoons

PREPARATION
1. In a blender, add 130 grams ice, 250 milliliters almond milk, 90 grams vanilla greek yogurt, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 65 grams banana, 2 tablespoons vanilla protein powder and blend it until smooth.
2. Pour the mixture into the glass.
3. Garnish with cinnamon powder.
4. Serve.

200g @consciouschocolate // or use 80% dark chocolate.

Chopped almonds
Cacao nibs
Crushed peanuts
Salted caramel truffles

METHOD
(N.B hands will get messy, bowl licking will be necessary) •Mix all the doughnut ingredients in a blender until completely combined.
•Once you are happy with the texture of the mixture, pour it out onto a piece of greaseproof paper and shape into doughnuts.
•Place your doughnut rings into the freezer and allow to set for 15 minutes
•Place all white chocolate ingredients into a blender and pulse until smooth. This is ready to be drizzled now.
•Melt your dark chocolate using a double boiler technique.
•Take your doughnut rings out of the freezer, and drizzle with both white chocolate and dark chocolate.
•Sprinkle your desired toppings and leave in the fridge for 10 minutes to set. #thinkmorethinkraw #recipeshare

1/4 cup almond flakes
1/4 cup sunflower seeds
1/3 cup coconut flakes
3 Tbsp pumpkin seeds
3 Tbsp goji berries
2 Tbsp flaxseeds
1 organic apple
1/2 organic pear
1 cup natural coconut yoghurt
3 Tbsp of plant base milk 
1 tsp cinnamon
1 Tbsp organic apple syrup
Juice of half an apple (optional)

1. Place buckwheat groats in a bowl and cover with filtered water.  Leave to soak up to 1-2 hour.
2.  Drain and rinse the buckwheat groats and place in a bowl.
3. Grate apple and chop pear into small pieces and place in the bowl with the buckwheat groats. 
4. Add all the remaining ingredients and mix well.
5. Spoon the mixture into a jar with a lid and place in the fridge over night.
6. When ready to eat you can Top with some sliced pear, chopped apple, a sprinkle of coconut flakes, flaxseeds and cinnamon.

Moist.  Spicy.  Rich.  Gluten Free.  My favorite Zucchini Bread ever.  Tastes like autumn. 🍃
ZUCCHINI BREAD RECIPE -gluten free
🍃
3 eggs
1 c. oil
1 c. Brown sugar
1 c. Granulated sugar
3 tsp. Vanilla extract
2 c. Grated zucchini with skin
2 1/2 c. Gluten free flour 
2 tsp. Salt
2 tsp. Baking soda
1/2 tsp. Baking powder
1 tsp. Grated nutmeg
1 tsp. Ground cinnamon
1 tsp. Ground gloves
🍃
Preheat oven to 350* F. Grease two loaf pans. 🍃
Mix together all dry ingredients.  Add all wet ingredients.  Mix well.  Pour into prepared pans.  Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until cake testers comes out clean.  Let cool on rack before removing from pan. 🍃

I’m willing to hedge a guess that all of us have had a chicken and rice casserole at least once in our lives. Maybe it was what your grandmother made when you went to visit her or perhaps something you make now to stretch a buck and feed a lot of mouths. Well, I can tell you this ain’t your grandmother’s chicken and rice dish (unless your grandma is from the Albuquerque-New Mexico border, than this very well could be her recipe!) Tex-Mex Chicken and Rice Skillet from this month’s @foodnetwork magazine is a perfect weeknight dinner, full of helpful shortcuts like using rotisserie chicken and pre-cooked rice and bursting with vibrant Tex Mex flavours. It makes a ton so will feed a crowd or a couple with plenty of leftovers! Our grandmas were seriously onto something here 😉 Link in bio!

Experimenting a new #snack today: light pan-fried tofu by using infused Sichuan peppers oil (Sichuan pepper from @themalaproject infused in Certified organic Tea seed Oil). It’s a little numbing but very light and fresh. The outside is crispy, but inside is soft. Love the taste and the texture! What’s your favorite snack that you cook?

I made this yesterday w/ what I had on hand while stuck at home when it was thunderstorming ⛈ & of course now it’s 94 degrees out today & I have tons of leftovers 😆 I’ll probably freeze some for next time ? 🤷🏻‍♀️
Here’s what’s in da bowl:
• whole chicken
• fresh parsley
• fresh celery leaves
• 🍋 juice
• @simplyorganicfoods cayenne & black peppers
• @tonychacheres salt free seasoning
• @flavorgod pink sea s&p
• Italian seasoning
• lemon pepper
• @kasandrinos evoo - for some good fat & a little oil separation 😌 (use my code Megdee for 20% off all orders)
Above ingredients (to taste) simmered in water in slow cooker for several hours to make homemade stock. Next add the rest of the ingredients below and let simmer for another 1.5 hrs
• celery
• onion
• 🥕🥕🥕

Celebrating #ToastTuesday on a Monday with my sunny side up egg & gluten free bread 😱 greatest combo!!! I'm a lover for this type of breakfast. It is so satisfying and delicious. I recently bought gluten free bread because I have always had stomach pains from eating regular bread ☹ and so far I've been feeling so much better & also not bloated and it's amazingggg 😭 small changes in your diet can make a HUGE difference in your daily performance and health. These apple cinnamon banana oatmeal squares are so easy to make, Healthy and delicious! They are vegan, gluten-free, and free of any refined sugars!  This is for sure going to become one of my favorite alternatives from my regular oatmeal. See below for ingredients and recipe details! .

Ingredients
•2 cups of rolled oats, divided
•Two ripe bananas
•1 tsp baking powder
•1/4 cup sugar free maple syrup
•1-2 apples, sliced
•Cinnamon

Directions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line and 8 x 10 square baking dish with parchment paper.
2. Put 1 cup rolled oats in food processor, process until the oats resemble flour.
3. Put bananas in a large bowl and mash with a fork until smooth. Add maple syrup and mix until combined. Add oat flour, baking powder and the remaining 1 cup of rolled oats. Mix until combined.
4.  Transfer 2/3 of the banana mixture to the baking dish and spread in a single layer.
5. Put a layer of sliced apples on top of mixture.
6. Put the remaining banana mixture on top of the Apple slices, so it resembles crumble.
7.  Put the baking dish in the oven and bake for 45 minutes, let cool then slice into squares (4 servings) serve with maple syrup on top and a side of your favorite fruit!!

2colheres de sopa de aveia .
1 1/2 colher de chia .
200ml de água .
150ml de leite de castanhas .
1scoop de whey baunilha .
1 colher de chá rasa de cacau .
1col de sopa de pasta de amendoim eu usei @firstoficial .
Granola low carb com xilitol .
Canela a gosto .
Preparo: 
Colocar na panela a aveia e a chia com a água e deixar engrossar bem! Feito isso, adicione o leite de castanhas e mexa em fogo baixo/ médio até engrossar novamente! Coloque canela a gosto, misture e reserve!! Em um potinho coloque o whey com aproximadamente 2 colheres de sopa de água e o cacau. Mexa até virar um creminho ( se quiser, pode colocar uma ou meia banana 40s no microondas e amassar nesse creme!! Fica deliciosoo)!! Despeje o creme de whey sobre o mingau e coloque a pasta de amendoim por cima! Feito isso, finalize com a granola low carb!! Eu usei a granola @tiasoniaoficial é muitoooo boaaa!!! .

Went to the Merchant City Festival the other day and it was so good 😊
We had drinks and wandered about the stalls and saw part of 2 shows which were interesting.

Also, we went to an Indian restaurant for food called 'Dhabba' which was really good and had loads of gluten free options. We shared stuffed mushrooms for a starter and I had Palak Paneer for main with rice which was tasty 😍. The naan in the background was Grant's but they did offer a naan type bread which was gluten free.

It doesn’t get better than homemade gluten free brownies using Pana Chocolate Sixty chocolate 🍫 I use to always think that buying Fairtrade products was difficult due to them not being as readily available, but honestly that’s no longer the case. Walking through the supermarkets I was presently surprised with how many Fairtrade products were available, including these blocks of Pana Chocolate Sixty from my local Woolworths. When you purchase products with the Fairtrade mark, you are supporting farmers to operate sustainably, and in fair conditions, as they work to improve their livelihoods and provide better support to their communities. Sounds pretty amazing if you ask me, I mean who doesn’t love guilt free chocolate?! I’d also love to know if you guys have any fair trade products that you love to buy and reccomend?

Recipe:
1 cup of plain gluten free flour
¼ cup of cocoa powder
150g of butter
1 ½ cups of sugar
3 eggs
120g of Pana Chocolate Sixty
1tsp of vanilla essence

Line your desired baking tin and preheat your oven to 160c fan forced.

Sift your flour and cocoa together and remove all lumps.

On a low heat melt your chocolate and butter together, then cool.

Now beat your eggs, vanilla and sugar together.

Then begin to whisk in your cooled chocolate and butter mixture.

Now slowly stir in your flour and cocoa powder.

It doesn’t get better than homemade gluten free brownies using Pana Chocolate Sixty chocolate 🍫 I use to always think that buying Fairtrade products was difficult due to them not being as readily available, but honestly that’s no longer the case. Walking through the supermarkets I was presently surprised with how many Fairtrade products were available, including these blocks of Pana Chocolate Sixty from my local Woolworths. When you purchase products with the Fairtrade mark, you are supporting farmers to operate sustainably, and in fair conditions, as they work to improve their livelihoods and provide better support to their communities. Sounds pretty amazing if you ask me, I mean who doesn’t love guilt free chocolate?! I’d also love to know if you guys have any fair trade products that you love to buy and reccomend? Recipe: 1 cup of plain gluten free flour ¼ cup of cocoa powder 150g of butter 1 ½ cups of sugar 3 eggs 120g of Pana Chocolate Sixty 1tsp of vanilla essence Line your desired baking tin and preheat your oven to 160c fan forced. Sift your flour and cocoa together and remove all lumps. On a low heat melt your chocolate and butter together, then cool. Now beat your eggs, vanilla and sugar together. Then begin to whisk in your cooled chocolate and butter mixture. Now slowly stir in your flour and cocoa powder.

Talk about gelatinous bone broth ... it’s so thick I could bloody jelly wrestle in it 😬 As you can see I don’t stand there and strain/scoop the fat off I don’t have time for that nonsense - plus I use the fat to help preserve the broth in the fridge and I also cook with it because well... I’m a thinker (I know what you’re all thinking not just a pretty face 😅 #borngenius ) Anyway I don’t need to bang on about broth because it already gets about as much attention as Kim Kardashian in the media these days because well it’s cheaper then botox and will well do the same thing if not better 😉 Tom is actually 78. I have a recipe on my website it’s ace and you’ll be healing your gut, reducing inflammation, replenishing your hair, skin and nails in no time once you start drinking this liquid gold 😉 As we all know my nails completely fell off recently and it only took about 3 weeks for them to completely grow back and I am putting it all down to broth. So stop what you’re doing and go get broth’d... I would recommend getting your hands on a pressure cooker it makes broth in 2 hours rather than 24 hours and to me that is a bloody great apparatus to have in your kitchen #livingmybestlife // I drink copious amounts of broth especially when my guts go hey wire I’m talking like 1L + daily (when I was healing my gut I would drink up to 5L per day - I know what you’re thinking that’s a lot of peeing and you my friend are correct) and remember!! We can’t expect to get healthy off animals that weren’t healthy so invest in good quality bones @australiannaturalfoodco have awesome broth bones or use your leftover shank bones etc.

These sticky, ooey, gooey Paleo cinnamon rolls are probably the best cinnamon rolls I have ever had! And they have no grains or dairy!

Sticky, Ooey, Gooey Paleo Cinnamon Rolls

For the Dough

2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
1 egg
1 tbsp honey
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups almond flour
1 tbsp coconut flour
1 tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt

For the Filling

1 tbsp cinnamon
Honey, for drizzling
1/4 cup pitted Medjool dates, finely chopped
1/4 cup walnuts, finely chopped

For the Glaze

2 tbsp honey
2 tbsp coconut cream
Pinch of cinnamon

Instructions

1. Whisk together the coconut oil, egg, honey, and vanilla in a medium bowl. Add the almond flour, coconut flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir well to combine.

2. Transfer the dough onto a sheet of wax paper. Cover with another sheet of wax paper and roll out into a long rectangle. Remove the top sheet of wax paper. Drizzle the dough with honey and sprinkle with cinnamon. Top with the chopped walnuts and dates.

3. Use the wax paper to roll the dough into a log. Place the log in the freezer to harden for 15 minutes.

4. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Slice the log into individual pieces, about 9 or 10 rolls. Place onto a baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden.

5. Meanwhile, make the glaze by stirring together the honey, coconut cream, and cinnamon. Once the rolls are golden, remove from the oven and drizzle with glaze. Serve warm.

Combine 2/3 cup of chickpea flour with 2 tsp garlic powder + 2 tsp turmeric and a little salt, add 2 tbs olive oil + 1/2 cup water and mix well. We cooked up some @rowefarms bacon, then cooked the chickpea pancakes by pouring 1/4 cup of the batter into a hot pan & flipping after 5 minutes. Serve with your favorite breakfast toppings; we used avocado, @okazusauce, crumbled #organic bacon & hot peppers from our garden (an egg would be nice here too). Sunday Snack Board.🌿🥕 Because sometimes, nothing beats local summer veggies and a side of homemade hummus. Plus, it’s just too damn hot to cook.🔥 Here I have heirloom carrots, organic broccoli, watermelon radish & cukes, and a side of my smokey cashew cordycep hummus for dipping:
1 can organic chickpeas 
1/2 cup cashews, soaked overnight
1/4 cup tahini
2-3 T avo oil
2 cloves of garlic
1 packet @foursigmatic cordyceps
1 tsp. smoked paprika 
a big squeeze of lemon
S&P
Add all ingredients (except for the oil) to a blender. Blend on low speed while slowly adding the oil- until smooth & creamy or slightly chunky (I prefer a little chunk). Season to taste, and devour.👌🍄✨Happy Sunday Everyone!
