Sweetest thing...when u give all uv got from ur whole heart...n they give back 💕 Malialani and her "big sis" had an amazing tofu veggie taco spread waiting when I came home from work last night. They cooked and cleaned, woo hoo! Nice to b taken care of and get a break 🙀💖😎
One of the biggest bummers when we found out my daughter had Celiac Disease when she was 4 and going gluten-free, was giving up our "meat alternatives" - Morning Star products (which had been my fav) and most veggie burgers contain wheat 😰 sooo we were super stoked a couple years ago living n Hawaii when Beyond Meat popped up! Plant-based, vegan, gluten-free, gmo-free, 13 grams of protein, wins all around! 🎉 combo it with McCormick's gluten-free taco seasoning, some edamame hummus, avocados, lettuce and corn tortillas and yeah, contentedly stuffed cuz its just too much good stuff! 🌮 says the lady who'll never say no to a taco 😎
Hawaiian Butter Mochi made by my baby...
Quality ingredients matter most in delicious healthier alternative baking for ur family.

16 oz bob's red mill white rice flour
2 tsp aluminum free baking powder

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease 9 x 13 glass pan.
Mix the melted butter and sugar until combined. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in vanilla. Pour in rice flour and add baking powder. Stir until mostly combined. Stir in evaporated milk, stir in the coconut milk. Pour into pan and bake for one hour.

Island Girl 🌺 n baker extraordinaire 💙🍰
Still drooling over this amazing dessert from Mirador in Dallas: Chocolate Espresso Mousse with hazelnut crémeux and candied baguette (unless you're me, and then sans candied baguette...). Gluten free, delicious, and despite the espresso, didn't actually keep me up all night (though to be fair, maybe I was just exhausted). Here's the deal: when a manager of a restaurant is a total jerk about a gluten free option on their menu that 100% isn't actually gluten free, the key is to have awesome friends who glare at said manager (#activebitchface ) and then totally support (and suggest) the act of getting up and leaving. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Also, this dessert is gorgeous and I low-key want to learn how to make it... whatever the heck it actually is (in English, not fancy-restaurant-speak). Also x2, I went in a Parslemouths t-shirt because we didn't plan on going somewhere fancy. Harry Potter forever, y'all.
Gather Kitchen : 100% GLUTEN-FREE SPOT IN DALLAS! 😍
After a stressful week of moving, grad school, and work, this morning I got to sleep in and then try @gatherkitchen, which I recently found out is completely gluten free. Perfect recovery from a stressful month. Y’all, I make a pretty darn good waffle, but it’s not easy to find gluten free / rice free / dairy free waffles at restaurants, so I was so excited that they had paleo waffles. You can get them savory or sweet... I got sweet because, well, I love all the sweet things. And you can get unlimited toppings. UNLIMITED. I got almost all of them. Including blueberries, strawberries, bananas, dried cranberries, coconut, almond butter, and dairy free chocolate. Basically all my favorite things. Plus pure raw maple syrup. Seriously, if you find yourself in Dallas, go check them out. You won’t regret it! ❤️
