In 2009 I realized I had the ability to draw portraits on stone. It was during this time that Princess Diana died. I wanted to see if I could get as close to the image given the tools I had at the time. The stone at that time worked well. Over time I have gotten better with each stone I scratched. I developed new techniques some of which are shown in this video. I have mastered the cutting process of stones which gives me a better foundation to work with along with the giving me two halves to work with. The music is from local artist #officialjohnking and saxophonist #arturotappin . This is from an unreleased album that most people have never heard.

@ektakaul11 wearing her new Madame Hall skirt! Ekta is not only a famously beautiful and talented actress, but she also has a good eye for very special clothes too!....A few weeks ago Ekta contacted me because she’d seen my signature skirt on Instagram. Ekta and I talked about what she wanted; a luxe, glamorous skirt with loads of show stopping style! The following week we made this lavish maxi skirt especially for her, and she was so delighted with the results she had some wonderful pics taken. If you want twirl with celebrity style... get in touch. I can make a skirt like Ekta’s for you too! #bestskirtever#celebratestyle#colourblast#showstopper#madamehall#superstyle#getthislook#celebritystyle#colorperfect#starstyle#vibrantcolours#glamorous

Marilyn Monroe on the train to warrensburg on June 14 1949.
She went by train to tour the big cities to promote her new movie “Love Happy”. Crossing the country from West-California to East-New York, she makes a stop in Rockford, Illinois, to visit a children's home. She travels to New York, commissioned by Photoplay magazine to participate in the presentation of the "Dream Home" contest organized by Photoplay. Marilyn is joined by fellow actors Don Defore and Lon McAllister, who accompanied her on the train and at the award ceremony in Warrensburg, New York. Marilyn, having heard that in New York it was always much colder than in Los Angeles, was dressed in a black woolen dress. She purchased suits for the travel (3 wool suits which were inadequate to the East heatwave), she bought them at May Company in Los Angeles, the heat was overwhelming as soon as she got off the train. On the spot, Lester Cowan bought her a white cotton dress, bought from a wholesaler in New York, she wore it the rest of the stay. She hands the keys to the house to the winner, Virginia McAllister, accompanied by her baby boy. Then she visits the house which contains all the modern equipment of the time. The photos of the event will appear in the November 1949 edition of Photoplay magazine.
Kicked off this afternoon with every intention of going through clothes for keeps or opshop but I'm just getting distracted by things I forgot I owned, like this sweater I fell in love with online and bought on sale and then it arrived and I realised how little the webstore model's body resembled mine and how much the detailing I so adored on the website made me super self-conscious of the girls and the length was perfect for drawing attention to my tummy...
The sweater is now on the maybe pile, and I'm doing my best to love the baps and the tum as they're not going anywhere any time soon.
