It’s been a few years now, since I had the blessing of sponsoring this little girl. Many people say how can you afford it ? Why do you do it ? Questions go on. I do it because i like to give, I like to take the focus off myself for a moment and think about someone else. To help someone less fortunate than I am. It helps me to not have a selfish heart and giving is so much better than receiving. It brings me great joy to know that if I gain money if it is from working or from an art sale that I can continually keep my sponsorship up and I am so grateful for that. Giving isn’t everyone’s strong suit so I am not going to judge or preach to say that’s what you should do too. However we all have a gift that can help others and while that might not be in giving, it maybe in encouraging others, spending time with people or just helping someone with a job they need to get done etc #compassion#portrait#girl#giving#love#make#a#difference#helping#help #

No yoga in this one except for maybe the yoga of life. Basking in the Parisian Sunlight post giving two classes in a row and feeling the love and energy of the students change from when they walked in the class to when they walked out ! #ilovemyjob#yogalife#yogateacher#paris#parisyoga#heart
Begin your week with physically releasing something you do not need, no longer want, or can be of service for someone else. Letting go can create internal peace, health and happiness, a stronger sense of self, and beautiful relationships. Gain wisdom by giving!
The Shoebox Thing donates all the gifts you give straight to the local community. 🙋🏻♀️
The shoeboxes are given directly to women’s aid (usually escorted over several trips in a shopping trolley to their top floor offices 🤦🏽♀️😨🤣) and anything that doesn’t quite fit will be donated to local school fayres where they’re sold and the cash goes to the pta/school fund. 👫👭👬
This way you always know when you donate to the shoebox thing it -
🎁Supports Our Community
☃️Helps those in need at an emotional time of year
🎅🏼Directly helps a person needing more than cash, needing a gesture of kindness.
🤶🏼No matter where your donation ends up it improves a child’s wellbeing.
You might think it’s just a ‘wee toy’ or a bath set that’s not really your thing but that may be the exact thing that picks someone’s faith in humanity up off the floor. It might give them a small amount of joy at a time when that feeling seemed very far alway.🖤
Whatever the donation, it always makes a difference ❤️✌🏼🤶🏼🎅🏼🎁
We must appreciate the hard work of children as it motivates them to press for more.

It’s just the beginning but....my journey has started! 🙏🏼 Words can't express the amazing feeling when your Passion & Purpose collide❤️ To take away the fear when they are thinking they have no other options.
To know that they were afraid and would never ask for help even when life threw a curveball at them.
If you know someone that will do anything to change their life but too scared to ask for help, why not offer to help them? With no expectations, no payment, just because you care and genuinely want to help. Maybe even join them on their journey.
If you could help a stranger change their life for the better would you?
Would you do it without expecting payment or reward? ——————————————————- Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you'll find one at the end of your arm... As you grow older you will discover that you have two hands. One for helping yourself, the other for helping others. Audrey Hepburn "T hose who are less fortunate
O ften don't want to ask for help.
H ard times hit all of us at some point
E njoy your good fortune

P eople helping people makes this world a better place!" Catherine Pulsifer
Meet Teresa and Thin, the parents of 35 children aged 4-18 living at the "Big Family Orphanage" located in the Central Highland region of Kon Tum province, Vietnam. Teresa herself grew up in an orphanage and has dedicated her life to supporting others. She is most definitely a modern day "Mother Teresa", likely the most generous person I've ever met. I think we can all agree that being a parent is one of the hardest task there is. I am blown away by their dedication to supporting all of these children, providing a roof over their heads, feeding them, putting them through school and giving them a big community of siblings to grow up with. The children are all being well taken care of to the best of their ability, however the orphanage is really struggling financially. Current needs include fresh school uniforms for their semester beginning August 1st, debt repayment for a well they had put in to provide a consistent water source, materials to construct a stable road coming into their property, among other things like improved hygiene, mattresses for their beds, better shoes, stronger stove... the list goes on! I know money is a sensitive topic for so many of us who struggle to pay for our own lives from time to time, however if anyone has any money/prayers to give, it would mean so much to their family. I have started a GoFundMe page (link in bio) Thank you for reading! . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
