Day 15 of #30DaysofThanks 🍂 and #ThrowbackThursday 🍂 Jess and I saw Sheryl Crow at the Hard Rock in Las Vegas, a year before we moved here. As you can tell by our smiles, we had a great time! 🍂 In 2006, Sheryl Crow was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent surgery and radiation. Thankfully, today she appears to be thriving. 🍂 As Jess and I know, it’s not easy to let the world in on something so private. However, we both agree it’s important to raise awareness. 🍂Hopefully, if more of us share our stories it will encourage women to get checked or maybe it will make someone on this journey feel less alone. 🍂Thank you to all of the warriors who continue to share your experiences with all of us! 🍂 #girlswhorock#womenempoweringwomen#fightlikeagirl#cancerwarriors#breastcancerawareness
Women tell me all the time that the women around them are judgemental, put them down and make them feel insecure. What’s this all about? As women we know how horrible it feels to be put down, so why do we do it to others? If this resonates with you, it sounds like you need a new circle. ASAP.
I am absolutely obsessed with bring women together, empowering and celebrating each other, and learning from one another.
The idea of running events for women came to me after I heard the same thing over and over again from my one-on-one clients. They shared their challenges and fears with me, but felt like there was no one in their inner circle that they could share them with. Others tell me that they feel like their friends limit them. They are highly ambitious, with huge goals on a journey on self-love and personal development, yet they find it hard to stay motivated because they are surrounded by negative people.
For this reason, my aim is to create both online and offline platforms for women to meet, connect and inspire.
In the last 4 weeks, a Wisdom Wednesday challenge has been running in my FB group (Build Confidence, Feel Fabulous). 4 women have been brave and massively stepped out of their comfort zones by getting in front of the camera and sharing inspiring messages with the group. The love from everyone in there has been amazing.
For the past 8 months, we have been running 7 day challenges in the FB group, where again, the support and encouragement has been BEAUTIFUL!
Women leave my events with new best friends and even create Whatsapp groups by the end of the night!😂
There are plenty of like-minded women out there, you just need to get yourself out there and meet them :) Come and join us!💖

So many people have told Joan and gave her shit about her being a girl in the rock and roll world and look at where she is now! To all who have said that girls can’t rock, Joan has played in all girl band The Runaways, started her own label and solo career after 23 assholes (labels) turned her away, had a few major hits, was part of the Riot Grrrl movement, got inducted into the RRHOF, and has released a documentary to prove all of the critics wrong! Recently, I improved on my guitar skills and started writing songs. Some of my songs, I’ve written about her. Can’t wait to start recording some of my songs soon! 😊 #joanjett#joanjettandtheblackhearts#therunaways#womenofrock#riotgrrrl#feminist#girlswhorock#girlsrock#womenwhorock#girlinarockandrollsong#rockgoddess
