5 years ago this woman came into my life at a time when I was at one of the lowest points I’ve ever been at. She stuck by me through hard times and times she probably should have walked away. But I am so grateful for God putting her in my life. She has helped me grow in so many ways. She believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself. She had confidence for me when I did not have any in myself. She loved me when I didn’t love myself. I am the man I am today because of Brittany. I am so undeserving of her. But I am thankful everyday for her. She is my best friend and my rock. She tells me I’m home for her, well that couldn’t be more accurate of what she is to me. You know it’s right when “home becomes a person, not a place.” Here’s to 5 years baby, and a lifetime to go! Thank you for everything, I love you ❤️😘 #5yearanniversary#bestfriend#girlfriendoftheyear#powerCouple#futureWife @notorious__bab
Alright, here it is. This morning’s workout was rough. It’s my least favorite of the week because it’s the hardest for me. I was so tired and would have rather stayed in bed. I had every excuse running through my head. And even once I pushed myself and started, I still had excuses! I didn’t push myself to work harder, I blamed myself for eating pizza last night, I wanted to quit halfway through. All the way to the end of the workout I felt like this. Right after the workout I felt like this.
I was disappointed that I didn’t push myself and I was upset I didn’t feel ‘better’ after working out. And then I checked myself. I’m still feeling a little ‘off’ but I still did it. I rolled out of bed and pushed play on a hard workout and did it. It was far from perfect and I could have done better but I also could have done nothing. I saw my muscles in my reflection and took a second to be PROUD. I have gained so much strength in this program and 1 year ago I never would have started my day with a workout. I know I did something to better myself and that makes me dang proud.
2 days until I get to spend the weekend outdoors!
I love to be outside and enjoying nature as often as I can. Whether that’s road trips to Canada to be in the mountains or going to the lake and relaxing. I love hiking and going for walks as a way to relax and release my stress.
Today is a rest day for me in my program and I am so excited to go for a long walk tonight, plug in some personal development, and enjoy. .
What is your favorite thing to do to stay active outdoors?!
This is my favorite picture on that day! We took a break of hiking from one mountain top to another and found a place where we had to take a picture.
I know all this kissing stuff is getting boring, but I'm going to tell you something.
If you have had a stressful situation, the best thing is that no matter what, the person you love, is still by your side and supporting you, even if the person is struggling, too.
We are keeping each other up and that is one big thing I love about her.
Stop fighting if you are struggling and start helping each others out!
When I first started this journey I could hold a forearm plank for maybe 5 seconds. Part of it was my lack of core strength but a bigger part of it was that I convinced myself I couldn’t do it. That it was too hard. That I wouldn’t ever be able to do it.
These negative thoughts ran through my head before, during, and after almost every workout when I first started. Finally I told that voice in my head to shut up and I started focusing on what I could do.
Now I push myself to see what I’m capable of. I have such a long way to go but I’ve also come so far. Don’t be afraid to celebrate the small victories, they are incredible! Find something amazing to celebrate every single day, big or small!
Especially on days you don’t want to.. do it!
They call this liquid motivation for a reason. Today this drink, some throwback hits, and a matching outfit are what pushed me to workout.
I had an early morning at work and a lot of busy work to keep up with. Coming home to workout was not my first choice but I have goals and skipping a workout isn’t going to get me there!
I thrive when I have routine. I prefer to workout in the morning, shower, eat breakfast, and spend a little time on the couch reading or watching Netflix before heading out for the day!
My work schedule has been so inconsistent lately so my mornings look different every day. But I will still get up early so I can begin my day with time for myself and so I won’t be rushed out the door.
What are you doing for yourself today? Self-care is so important and you are so worth it!
My heart is so full! The last couple days I have been able to share my story and really dig in to the passion I have for this new lifestyle. I believe in this wholeheartedly and love the benefits of more energy, more confidence, and more self love.

Treat day! I love that I have a program that encourages a treat day! I have been looking forward to this so much and I do not feel even a little bit guilty about it. This kind of balance is what is going to help me maintain this LIFESTYLE!
