I worked ALL day on my new workout room! 
It’s about 95% done, but just because it’s not 💯% done like I want it to be doesn’t at all mean that I won’t have my butt up before the crack of dawn getting my workout in!! I am so grateful to have a space where I can retreat to and work on myself! No traffic to get there, no distractions (as long as I lock the door and put my headphones on 🤣😂). I have been telling myself that I will begin changing my life tomorrow! Lol But we all know that tomorrow is a day that never really arrives! I too struggle sometimes, because there is so much going on in my life! But I have come to realize that I must first take care of me, before I can care for anyone else! 
Filling my cup first and serving others from the saucer!! (can’t remember where I heard that from, not my words...but it has now become my motto!) You do what you need to do to fill your cup and allow it to overflow onto the saucer, it is then that overflow that is used to bless those around you! 
I was reflecting back on why I decided to become a fitness trainer in the 1st place and it all became really clear to me! It’s like my WHY slapped me right in the face! 
I decided 6 years ago to get into fitness, because I was reading an article about the steadily increasing rate at which children were acquiring adult chronic illnesses. They were not just acquiring them at a rapid rate, but children were dying way before their parents! 
And let me tell you, it was saddening and heartbreaking, and it is still occurring today! 
I decided them that I wanted to be a part of the solution, because our children are the future of our world! 
Shortly after baby Ari was born, I decided to merge my love of fitness with Beachbody coaching! 
My theory was that I was only one person and as one person, I can only help so many people. But if I could attract and educate and inspire others to want to join me in my quest to save our children through first changing ourselves then I would have a much broader platform in which to help more and more and more and more people! 
It took me a little while to be reconnected with my why, with my passion, with my purpose! 
I am working to chan

By the end of this workout I was a sweaty mess with the ruby red face to go with it 😂 it always feels good when I push myself though because that is where the changes happen and I can always feel proud of myself after for challenging myself😀💪 happy hump day everyone!!

THE 3 MOST CRUCIAL THINGS YOU CAN DO TO HELP GET RESULTS⁣

You bust your butt when you can, one week you slay and go to the gym EVERY SINGLE DAY, the next you lose the motivation to workout, you don’t know what you’re doing 100% but you follow random workouts you find on your fav fitspo accounts and just try to stay away from carbs, eat all the celery juice and eat something yummy but immediately feel guilty. SOUND LIKE YOU.. ?? girl I feel, that used to be me until i utilized these 3️⃣ tips:

1️⃣CONSISTENT WORKOUTS- Pick the amount of days you are going to go & find that # of workouts and DO THE SAME WORKOUTS FOR 4-6 WEEKS. Stop changing your workout and doing every single fitspo workout you find and just never actually improving a single workout- progressive overload y’all it’s a magical thang!🎶🎶🎶🎶⁣
2️⃣EAT FOR YOUR BODY AND NOT SOMEONE ELSES OR FAD DIETS- celery juice makes you gassy💩, keto diets are just going to drain you not help you build muscle😿, and in all honesty diets are just a waste of your money cuz lets be honest it’s fucking expensive. 💰💰So start to see what your body needs, reach out to me if you need help on how to calculate your macros and follow those. When you stop fearing carbs and allow your body to use the glycogen to build the muscle you want and BURN, you’ll get results.⁣🔑🔑
3️⃣REST A MINIMUM OF 2 DAYS A WEEK. When I learned that results are made when our bodies are at rest I was like “HOLD UP FRANCIS WHY HAVEN’T I BEEN RESTING?” I used to go to the gym every single day no rest, and boy did I get frustrated when I didn’t see results! I was always so sore and so damn tired.🆘🆘Commit to a number of workouts you can actually fit into your life, not hammering out every day being stressed as fuck which causes you to lose motivation.⁣❌❌

We all have those workouts where we're just not feelin it. Here's a few tips on how to power through those:

⭐️A workout partner- I was having a super sluggish workout yesterday and wasn't happy with how it was going, but then I ran into a friend of mine who ended up working out with me, and I had an awesome workout after that.

⭐️Try switching up your workout playlist. Hearing the same old tunes all the time can blunt their effect and make you less hyped up.

⭐️Remind yourself of your goals. Take a look at your progress, or where you were when you started, so that you can remember your original motivation.

⭐️Just get yourself started. Many times I have no motivation whatsoever, especially when it comes to running, but as long as I get myself out there, my mood is usually changed by the first mile. By the end of it, I feel great.

TIPS FOR BUILDING MUSCLE: 
1) Caloric Surplus- This one is vital...Your body needs a certain amount of calories to function. Without more than that, there is no fuel to build with. So EAT
2) Eat clean- Yes, you'll have to eat more to gain muscle, and yes, that sounds fun. But don't just eat everything in sight for the sake of "putting on size". The only size you'll put on is around your waist. So keep your diet clean.
3) Rep Ranges of 6-12- Any less reps and you'll see greater strength gains, but less size gains. Any more reps than that and it'll be too easy for your muscles, resulting in less-than-optimal growth. 
4) Don't overtrain- Follow the 72-hour rule: Give each muscle group about 3 days to recover before training it again.  This ensures that each muscle recovers fully, which optimizes growth. 
5) Have FUN...gains are the best guys
