📝 Routine, Consistency and Results.
Trying to fall back into my regular routine and being consistent with this is the only way I will see results.
Often you will fall out of routine be that after a holiday, injury or change in lifestyle circumstances.
This is when inconsistencies start to creep in!
You stop going to the gym, You often miss meals or get what’s convenient and you become lost.
It’s often too easy to blame something or someone else for why you aren’t seeing results.
This could be in the gym, in relationships or business but ultimately it comes down to your lack of routine and consistency.
So today although it’s slightly different from my regular Mondays I am still trying to keep it as routine as possible.
Get up and have my regular breakfast, my flat white and produce content for you guys!
Update my clients, learn (podcast, paper of some sort) and train!
I know that by doing this not only will I feel better mentally, my body composition will remain....(the body I worked hard to achieve for that photo shoot 😉) and by the end of the week I will be focused and ready to repeat 👊🏻
So remember Routine, get back into don’t wait for the right time or day! Consistency, do it day in day out and you will start to see the Results!

For most of us this is something we struggle with at one point or another. For me it developed when I became a personal trainer. I felt I had to meet a certain standard. Look a certain way. Lift a certain weight. For others it may be because you’re not sure what you’re doing. Or you lack self confidence. The list goes on.
3 quick tips that helped me overcome the gym anxiety barrier...
1. Competence breeds confidence. If you’re competent in the gym i.e. you know how to perform the exercises, you will feel 1000x more confident about training in the gym. How do you do this? Look up exercise videos on YouTube, get a training plan, hire a coach.
2. Have a plan. When you walk into the gym you want to know what you’re doing when you get there. If you’re anxious, don’t play it by ear. Get a training programme so you can get in, do the work, and get out.
3. Wear something you feel comfortable in to the gym. If you’re self conscious about what you’re wearing, it will distract from what you’re there to do.

Yay! My happy place!
Got back from camping and survived the unpacking process. Why is that the worst part of it all?!? Laundry is still going and will for sure continue through tomorrow. I feel like we packed the entire house for a week away.
Well, kids are in bed and I finally have time to get my workout on. Woot woot. I did fairly well staying on track with nutrition but skipped more workouts than normal with chasing kiddos, walking loops, spending time on the boat, and enjoying campfires. It was definitely worth it, but excited to get my sweat on.
Even more excited that I made it home in time to start the vip release of my new 4 day a week workout. Say what? !? Yep...3 recover days. Best part is I get to be part of the coach test group and learn first hand from the creator and trainer. I am beyond thankful and grateful for the opportunity. I know how hard summer can be to stick to a workout routine. I know I usually end up using the kiddos as an excuse to skip a workout here or there. Well, these are only 30-40 minutes. I know I can make that work. Nap time for my lil and it is gettin' done.

Okay I picked my daily habit for the next 5-days and I’m terrified. Okay that’s a bit #dramatic - but here goes....
For the next 5-days i am going to go to bed ONCE the kitchen is clean. This is what clean means to me:
✅no dirty dishes in the sink
✅no drying clean dishes in the sink
✅nothing on the counter ✅no pots in the stove to deal with in the AM
✅nothing on the island
#exhale OK I declared it. Now this is more like a “tidy” because I’m not going to make myself scrub or really clean (unless I feel inspired to do so). But in addition to this nightly tidy routine I am also going #challenge myself to also do the following: ✨not judge others for NOT helping me
✨not get annoyed or frustrated with other people’s mess
✨just do the challenge for my own habit + leave other people’s habits out of it
#namaste lol I’ve got a lot of kids, a dog and a hungry husband who is off work for the summer. Wish me luck, patience and peace. 😬

3 days up north was much needed for my family. Although I ate healthy for breakfast and lunch, I did allow for icecream 🍦 and a splurge at a greasy diner 🍔. Was it worth it? Sure! But it was planned and I didn’t go out of control.
Now that I am back, I am so excited to get back to my routine and start my newest workout program hat is only 4 days per week and only 30-40 minutes each. Yes you heard it- 4 days per week! That’s 3 rest days as opposed to the 1 rest day and hour workouts. •
Think you can’t? Think again. If you can read and follow directions, there is no reason you couldn’t have massive success in this 8 week program. You in? ❤️✌🏼
