I just finished one hell of a 3 month contract... I worked my butt off, often going in extra to help out because of staffing issues.
I took a permanent job in NH (not the place I had a contract with) and am excited to start that, but I’m also REALLY enjoying my two weeks off before it starts!
I spent this past weekend at @brooksidehillfarm stacking wood, harvesting kale, exploring the woods, baking bread and making pie. You all should check out @chelseyferments - she and her fiancé own Brookside and she has jumped head first into homesteading in New England - she’s totally a role model for me!
I also finally got to spend time with my one and only @mofonature - we’ve been working our butts off this past month and have hardly seen each other, so it was so nice to get to spend more than 6 awake hours together 😍
Today I blanched the kale and chard we harvested so I could freeze it to use later, and also am trying my hand at baking bread from scratch. I forgot to take pictures to show the progress on my story, but I will show you what I’ve done so far, so stay tuned!
Pretty sure they will hate me tomorrow but we conquered #t25lowerfocus while the kids ran laps. T25 was the very 1st BB program I ever purchased & it will always be my favorite. It’s 25 minutes of hard work with a modifier to follow (if need be) all while being motivated by the great & dreamy #shaunt 😍 It was chilly at the park tonight but we warmed up quick! I’m grateful for these faces that #justshowup They make my days & my workouts much more FUN! 🎉
“Why?” The question lies at the heart of the artist's intent for The Blue Trees at the @curriermuseum in #ManchesterNH . Dimopoulos understands and welcomes people’s concern for the health and well-being of the #trees – in fact, that’s the entire point!
