If you eat more calories than you burn, you gain weight.
If you eat less calories than you burn, you lose weight.
The types of foods you eat do not matter so much - it’s the QUANTITY that matters most!!!
In saying that, I do highly advocate a nutrient-rich diet over heavily processed foods, but the point I’m trying to get across is that you DON’T have to resort to extremely rigid low-calorie “dieting” to lose weight. You can still enjoy a broad range of foods as part of a balanced nutrition approach while working towards your fitness goals.

Hooray for REST DAY!!! 🙌🏼 Since adding regular exercise into my life, I’ve learned the importance of self-care. 💕
You can’t push your body to the limits and not give it time to recover and get in a little pampering now and again. Your muscles need time to repair so you are not susceptible to injury and stress. Thankfully the house is empty and quiet for a little while AND it's rest day! 😮 Those 2 things rarely happen at the same time! I think a hot bath should do the trick!
Take a little time to slow down. Read a book, do some yoga, get a massage...whatever calms your mind,body and soul so you can HIIT (little workout pun there 😉) it harder tomorrow! 💪🏼

What is definitely noticable, however, is how much my waist has slimmed down. I feel like I can engage my core much better on heavy compound lifts, and I've been doing vacuum exercises for a while now. -
🥑I've been doing intuitive eating since I started lifting, and I think I finally found the perfect formula for vegan bodybuilding: eat small, frequent high protein meals, don't stress, and keep lifting heavier shit👌🏼 it's funny cause ever since I started bulking, my bodyfat hasnt changed at all and Ive only gotten bigger.”
