Guess who’s decided to show their face🙋🏼‍♀️ I’ve been super busy recently and haven’t had a minute to myself. I’ve been stress eating like I don’t know what and more exams are coming my way📖 I’m trying to not let that stop me from cutting everything else off. Lately all the crappy food has made me lose so much motivation and I’ve been skipping gym days which is not like me, trying to juggle work life, studying and keeping fit all at the same time is a challenge🤯 I’ve realised that it’s ok to not be on form 24/7 and there are times in your life when you need to prioritise the important things. Don’t beat yourself up if you haven’t been to the gym every single day of the week, don’t beat yourself up if you have just ate 3 donuts in a row because your stressed to hell, life is to short! If your having a bad day, week or month don’t panic because it will pass and when it does let it go and start a fresh💆🏼‍♀️✨

Für 3 große Schoten hab ich 150g Couscous quellen lassen, dann 150g Frischkäse, 50g Tomatenmark und einen Mozralla damit vermengt und ordentlich Gewürze dran .... mediterrane Richtung. Dann in die Gratinform 1 Dose (400g) gehackte Tomaten mit etwas Wasser und Gewürzen rein, die Schoten rein gesetzt und alles so für 30 Min bei 200° in den Backofen und fertig.

2018 Arnold Amateur Women Physique Winner "My most recent victory, which was this year, placed me in the professional category. The routine, the passion and the dedication are what keep me going. I love the structure that fitness training brought to my life. Now that I’m in off-season my body is still accustomed to eating six times a day no matter what. I can also eat more carbs. In the morning I’ll have eggs, oatmeal, fruit. The diet I stick to is based on my macros. On the weekends I’ll indulge a bit more, and have two cheat days. It’s about balance. During competitions I reduce carbs and stay on fish and greens, oatmeal and at night I have about 1 or 2 squares of 80% dark chocolate. I don’t follow any specific regimen other than counting my macros based on my body. In competing you learn how your body works, so it’s easier for you to know what causes inflammation and what helps to build muscles. I have a healthy balance, because it’s not about punishing myself."

The routine, the passion and the dedication are what keep me going. I love the structure that fitness training brought to my life. Now that I’m in off-season my body is still accustomed to eating six times a day no matter what. I can also eat more carbs. In the morning I’ll have eggs, oatmeal, fruit. The diet I stick to is based on my macros. On the weekends I’ll indulge a bit more, and have two cheat days. It’s about balance. During competitions I reduce carbs and stay on fish and greens, oatmeal and at night I have about 1 or 2 squares of 80% dark chocolate. I don’t follow any specific regimen other than counting my macros based on my body. In competing you learn how your body works, so it’s easier for you to know what causes inflammation and what helps to build muscles. Hey Villetx fam! I’m gunna share a little with you guys about how I got where I am now, and how I maintain it.

I’m going to be honest here, the way I eat now 100% has to do with how I had anorexia in 7th grade. I know this because before 7th grade, I’d sit on my couch with a family size bags of Cheetos and finish it all by myself. Yep, if you know me now and how I eat, your mouth probably just dropped.

So yes, trying to stick to strictly eating clean for beginners is SO hard, especially because of cravings. For me though, because I’ve been this way with eating since 7th grade, I actually have gotten to the point where I don’t crave sweets or anything fried like that anymore since I haven’t had it in so long. I’m used to it. My will power is at an all time high bc of consistency.

So, I do my own little thing of just simply eating clean. Nothing special. No, not a diet. No, not depriving myself. I just eat clean and stay conscious of around how much of each food group and nutrient I’m taking in a day.

Now switching to my workouts➡️➡️➡️ When I first started working out, at my house and when I first started going to the gym, I would mostly do only cardio (the stair master or the treadmill). Besides that, I’d shyly make my way towards the machines for abs, legs and arms. For only about 30 minutes.

NOW, I barely do cardio! I walk confidently into the free weight section for every workout I do now. I use the squat racks for a variety of arms, legs, back. I try to increase the weight I use with every gym visit even if it’s only by the tiniest bit, so that I can not only maintain, but gain muscle.

Another huge key: switch up your workouts!!! Make sure to not do the same thing every time! Your body will get used to it, be creative and confident when you’re at the gym, no one cares what you’re doing!

Looking back on my progress in the gym, I can very confidently say that the switch from cardio to weight lifting was the BEST switch I’ve ever made. It changed not only my body in a drastic way, but my love for going to the gym

A lot of you may be surprised to hear I signed up for an online Transformation Challenge. I am already a qualified PT and have completed dozens of nutritional courses 👩‍🎓, but when I seen James’s challenge I knew I had to get involved.

Prior to the challenge I was signed off work 👮🏻‍♀️ with a bad back. My back injury 🚫 me from gyming, sleeping well and living my normal active lifestyle. I felt restricted, and I adopted the ‘F**K IT’ attitude, I was constantly bored at home and when I’m bored guess what? I EAT….and man did I eat🍕🍟🍪. Until 1 day I woke up and I caught I a glimpse of myself in the mirror, and I hated what I saw. In just 3wks I gained a lot of weight, my skin was blotchy and I was developing a bit paunch.

Soo after THAT morning I decided to get my act together, except for the 1st ever I completely lacked motivation, and guess what I ATE SOME MORE!! Which lead to more frustration and of course more weight!

Sooo ⏩ to Weds 15th Aug📅 and I seen James’s 28day challenge and without a second thought I signed up! I transferred the money over and almost immediately, suddenly my attitude changed - I was excited, motivated, determined and all the other positive words you read on an Inspo Insta post.

The challenge itself was super slick! It was easy to follow, very knowledgeable, interactive and most of all enjoyable. But if I’m completely honest I wouldn’t say I learnt anything new to do with nutrition🥦 or science🤓 because I learnt about that during my qualifications. But what I did learn was the HUGE impact of ACCOUNABILITY. I was accountable to someone for my success or failure, and there was absolutely no way I was going to let them down by letting myself down. I’ve talked about every coach needing a coach before and this experience, completely shows its worth.

When I signed up I wasn’t expecting to have myself an OHH MM GEEE /Transformationtuesday photo, because let’s face it, its 28 days!

Instead my transformation was a little different, it was all about that accountability, and without sounding like massive sponge it pulled me out of a pretty 💩 place!

It’s amazing how everyone’s body is built the same but grows to be so different.

During today’s workout, the trainer used the medium resistance loop for an exercise, so I grabbed the same. She decided it was too light for her, so she went with a high resistance loop next round. I, on the other hand, died and grabbed the light resistance loop next round. 😅

On a different exercise, the trainer grabbed 10lb weights, so I did the same. The next round, she stayed with her 10lbs while I went to 17.5lbs. 💪🏼

It simply amazes me that we are all capable of hard things but for each person “hard” means/is something different.

Don’t ever compare yourself to someone else’s journey. 🙅🏼‍♀️
It is and always will be YOU vs YOU & ME vs ME. 💞
Grow and live a healthy lifestyle for yourself and no one else. 🙌🏼

it's not enough to scare other opponents in my weight class but I'm pretty happy with the progression. I lost 26 pounds of fat in 4.5 months and in the end I could barely squat 345 pounds once ... This week, I started eating more calories and I already noticed a good difference. 💪

So I was messing around yesterday after my workout trying to see if I could compete with @jennlpetty and @austyn_tokar with my handstands... woke up this morning and couldn’t figure out why I was more sore than usual and then I remembered the handstands 😂 .. my. new fitness goal is to successfully do handstand walks ...and maybe one day I’ll be able to do a handstand push-up (that day is definitely not today lol). Anyway, anyone out there looking to spice up their workouts, add practicing handstands into the end of your upper body workout and you’ll engage your core, chest, shoulders, arms, and back while improving your balance and strength 😈
