Last night I arrived in beautiful Heidelberg after a couple fun and interesting days in Frankfurt - Germany’s financial capital. Frankfurt isn’t typically thought of as a tourist destination, but there’s a lot to offer visitors that spend a couple days. One of a few things I highly recommend is going up to the observation deck on the 55th floor of Main Tower. It offers a fantastic view of one of Europe’s biggest skylines, Römerberg (the re-built historic center), the Main River and Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof (Europe’s largest train station). Frankfurt markets itself as a mini New York, and you can see similarities in the contrasting architecture. .
