A light display that stopped me in my tracks. Made by the most #super_ordinarylife of objects. Any guesses what it is? Oh and when you spot interesting light effects, do you also feel the need to figure it out or do you just go with the magic?
Tiles are powerfully #super_ordinarylife ◻️◻️◻️◻️ They are everywhere, in every city and in almost every home yet they still capture our 👀 ♥️ Thank you @realanavila for sharing this beautiful reminder of the charm and magic in the mundane. 🙏🏼 📷: @realanavila
I love all these cafés and restaurants with minimalist pared back interiors. I do! But there are so many of them and all across the world that they’ve begun to represent a globalised taste and forced aesthetic that makes everything feel the same anywhere I go. For that reason, more than ever I love establishments do their own thing, places that make me feel like I’m walking through someone’s vivid personality/imagination. @pacificsocialclub has always done things it’s own way 🙏🏼
The Choi Hung Estate in Hong Kong is quite famous on Instagram these days. But for many people it is part of their daily #super_ordinarylife . Hiro visited with a local friend recently, it was evening when he stepped onto the court and he was immediately impressed by the laid back community vibes that resonated here. As with most of these places that Instagram has accidentally shone a spotlight on, there’s more to the story than a pretty sight. There’s the everyday human aspect of the locals, too.
