Day 5 of 10: Films that made an impact on you the first time you saw them and which are still on your watch list, even if you only go back to them now and then. Post the poster (or an image from the film), no need to explain, and nominate a person each day to do the same. Nominating @alexa.celia #melbrooks#theproducers#genewilder#zeromostel#60s
In light of the recent news where #HashFlare contracts have been terminated. Perhaps customers would have been better off signing a #smartcontract instead of a standard contract.
A smart contract is a computer protocol intended to digitally facilitate, verify, or enforce the #negotiation or performance of a contract. Smart contracts allow the performance of credible transactions without third parties. These transactions are trackable and irreversible. Essentially, it's a "trustless" exchange on the #blockchain .
#Blockchains don’t actually eliminate trust. What they do is minimize the amount of trust required from any single actor in the system. They do this by distributing trust among different actors in the system via an #economic game that incentivizes actors to cooperate with the rules defined by the #protocol .
So HashFlare customers don't get shafted with changes in mining difficulty and poor Charlie Bucket doesn't lose out on a chocolate factory.

Blazing Saddles (1974)
Directed by Mel Brooks
Starring: Cleavon Little, Gene Wilder, Harvey Korman, Slim Pickens, Madeline Kahn, Mel Brooks, Dom DeLuise
Blazing Saddles delivers a story so taboo for its time while injecting it with meta-humor, wit, and brilliant storytelling to create one of Mel Brooks’s best films to date. Blazing Saddles is a satire on racism using a plot revolving around a crooked politician and a black sheriff to tell this satirical story. While Blazing Saddles might seem like it offensively pushes the envelope of its time, the theme of it all is much grander then what a first glance would convey. Cleavon Little expertly performs as Sheriff Bart by using wit and off the all humor to deliver a one of a kind performance. The true standout of the film is without a doubt Gene Wilder. As with almost all of the films on Wilder’s filmography, he displays such a unique charm that can never be replicated or reproduced in any way, shape, or form. Mel Brooks also delivers his humor in such a meta fashion that has not come close to being beaten by any film other then the likes of Fight Club, Ferris Bueller, and Deadpool. While the film might feel dated by today’s standards, it still remains a classic piece of the parody film genre prominent in its time. I recommend this film to fans of westerns, Mel Brooks, Gene Wilder, meta-humor, and Spaceballs.
Igor: *ieeeee!* [sings] I ain't got nobody, and nobody cares for me. Yakatata! Yakatata!
Dr. Frankenstein: Igor!
Dr. Frankenstein: How did you get here?
Igor: Through the dumbwaiter. I heard the strangest music from the upstairs kitchen and I just... followed it down. Call it... a hunch. Ba-dum SHI! #YoungFrankenstein#MelBrooks#GeneWilder#TeriGarr#MartyFeldman 🧟♂️👨🏼🔬
Who better than Gene Wilder to remind us on this wintry Friday that it’s okay to be silly sometimes? His work was brilliant and soothing in equal measure.
Fellow business owners, may your Friday and coming weekend err on the side of nonsense, rather than seriousness.
You’ve earned it.
Come with me and you'll be in world of pure imagination.
For some reason this song has been in my head the past couple weeks so I had to do some Willy Wonka art. Gene Wilder version not that weird Johnny Depp one lol.
It may or may not have something to do with this epic weekend of Lebowski Fest and a German festival! With great food and great beer. Woo hoo!
Very thrilled to announce that my one woman show will officially be playing October 6th, 2018 @ 8PM ❤️🎉
Who doesn't like Gene and Gilda??!

AND GUESS WHAT? Proceeds benefit Gilda's Club NYC, support groups for those who are impacted or have been impacted by cancer. Gene Wilder founded these clubs when his wife and SNL comedienne, Gilda Radner, lost her battle with ovarian cancer. (If you'd like to donate further, let me know!)
