S’mores Bars 🍫 — This is a quick, easy dessert that I can’t get enough of. No fire needed 🔥 —

4 Tbsp Butter
1 10oz bag mini marshmallows
1 tsp vanilla extract
7 c Golden Grahams Cereal
12 snack size Hershey’s chocolate bars (broken into fourths)
1. Grease a 9x13 baking dish.
2. Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add all but 1 cup of marshmallows, cook, stirring occasionally until marshmallows are melted. Remove from the heat, add vanilla and a pinch of salt. Add the cereal and stir with a rubber spatula until the cereal is completely coated.
3. Let the mixture cool for a few minutes then fold in the reserved marshmallows and chocolate. Saving a few of each to place on top for aesthetics, if desired.
4. Scoop mixture into prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Place remaining chocolate pieces and marshmallows on top, cool and serve.
You CAN have Chex Mix Snack on the low FODMAP diet with our recipe! Easy to make and the whole family will love it. No one will know it is "diet" food! 😉⠀
The original Chex Mix contains garlic and onion powders as well as bagel slices. We left those out but kept low FODMAP Worcestershire sauce and other seasonings 🥨. A little garlic-infused oil helps, too!👌⠀
