Repost By @alkaline_electric_vegan:
Garlic is a poison from a lecture by physicist Dr. Robert C Beck, DSc, given at the Whole Life Expo, Seattle, WA, USA, in March 1996. (Part 1/3)
The reason garlic* is so toxic, the sulphone* hydroxyl* ion penetrates the blood-brain barrier, just like DMSO a sulfoxide*, and is a specific poison for higher-life forms and brain cells. We discovered this, much to our horror, when I (Bob Beck, DSc) was the world's largest manufacturer of ethical EEG [electroencephalography*] feedback equipment.
We'd have people come back from lunch that looked clinically dead on an encephalograph, which we used to calibrate their progress. "Well, what happened?" "Well, I went to an Italian restaurant and there was some garlic in my salad dressing!" So we had them sign things that they wouldn't touch garlic before classes.
I guess some of you, are pilots or have been in flight tests, I was in flight test engineering in Doc Hallan's group in the 1950s. The flight surgeon would come around every month and remind all of us: "Don't you dare touch any garlic 72 hours before you fly one of our airplanes, because it'll double or triple your reaction time. You're three times slower than you would be if you'd not had a few drops of garlic." Well, we didn't know why for 20 years later, until I owned the Alpha-Metrics Corporation. We were building biofeedback equipment and found out that garlic usually desynchronises your brain waves.
So I funded a study at Stanford and, sure enough, they found that it's a poison. You can rub a clove of garlic on your foot you can smell it shortly later on your wrists. So it penetrates the body. This is why DMSO smells a lot like garlic: that sulphone hydroxyl ion penetrates all the barriers including the corpus callosum* in the brain.
According to Ayurveda, India’s classic medical science, foods are grouped into three categories sattvic, rajasic, and tamasic—foods in the modes of goodness, passion, and ignorance. Onions and garlic, and the other alliaceous plants are classified as rajasic and tamasic, which means that they increase passion and ignorance. Ok so I follow several vegan profiles to get inspired for new dishes. This dish I created is in no way vegan or vegetarian (like myself, although I strive to be!). I was inspired by the use of 'cauliflowered fried rice'... because I try to sneakily incorporate as many vegetables as I can into my diet.
So, here it is. This is my healthier version of 'chicken fried rice'. I used:
-1 bag of Trader Joe's frozen microwaveable brown rice
-1 bag of Trader Joe's cauliflowered vegetable fried rice
Then added a little bit of 'Lite Soy Sauce', 2 eggs (scrambled into the mix), and chopped up some extra garlic (because I looove me some garlic!), and tore off some pieces of our rotisserie chicken. And Wahlah! 😁

Sautee two small onions and a bunch of mushrooms and fresh elephant #garlic in #coconut oil to top over a bed of #spinach . Add your sliced #strawberries , almond slivers and dressing. Dressing is one squeezed lemon, olive oil, pink salt, pepper and garlic powder. It's srumdillyishous! Enjoy my fellow food lovers! 🌠🍁🍃
WHAT IS FODMAP?...
A lot of clients come to us that they want to lose weight but suffer from bloating, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), stomach and peptic ulcers, gastritis, acid reflux and GERD. These digestive system ailments makes it twice as difficult for them to achieve weight loss. This is because a lot of them have never heard about FODMAP...
What is FODMAP? EVER HEARD OF FODMAPs?
FODMAPs (fermentable oligo-, di-, mono-saccharides and polyols) are short-chain carbohydrates that escape digestion and are then fermented by gut bacteria in the colon. Gas is a byproduct of this process.
For healthy people, FODMAPs simply provide fuel for the beneficial digestive bacteria and should not cause any problems.
However, for individuals with irritable bowel syndrome, another type of gas is formed during the fermentation process. This may cause major discomfort, with symptoms like bloating, flatulence, cramping and diarrhea.
We believe that Garlic and Onion adds so much favour to a dish. We love these two ingredients but we don’t like the smell it leaves on our fingers after. Tip: after cutting up Garlic and Onion wash you hand with soap and cold water. Hot water will sink in the smell!! 🍽 #garlic#onion#cooking#trick#tips#cook#recipe#lfl#follow#essex
SHUT THE FRONT DOOR, @shutthefigup 😍... Happy #sundayfunday friends!
We hope you make it as majestic as this slice of curry turmeric sprouted raw hummus TOAST.
Did you know that the majestic story started as a little health cafe?

My post for Throwback Thursday! Currently thinking of that delicious blackened cod over Cuban black beans, a salad, and salsa on top! I made the beans using a sofrito base, adding pork for flavor, and chicken broth 😊
For dinner I made a triple stack cheese burger with Havarti cheese on a light brioche bun with my own mix of ground beef! It has a delicious garlic aioli, prosciutto and fresh veggies! On the side I made shoestring fries that I tossed with fresh garlic and parsley! Would anyone order this at a restaurant?? Curious on opinions 😋
