Converting the aggressor kit into some more fluffy Alpha Legion Obliterators. Really like the concept of the AL not being reliant on daemonic gifts for their forces and wanted to show that through salavaged weaponry for the obliterators 🔫🔫

"When I was eleven, I saw a couple guys playing some game where they were using measuring tapes and dice. This guy had a really cool looking tank on the battlefield and they were using terrain and it was all on this 4 x 6 map. It really peaked my interest, y'know?
It wasn't until I moved out here to California that I went into my local mom and pop shop called 'Linebreakers' that I saw Warhammer. I was like, 'That's it! That's what I need back in my life!' Art has always been a thing for me and that got me back into the hobby.
Years later, the company posted a job offering saying, 'Hey we're opening up a shop in Apple Valley!' I immediately knew my sales background would qualify me and I applied and eventually got the job. I was really happy about that.
This is not a franchise, but a global company. We actually just celebrated our 500th store opening in Tokyo.
The hobby itself consists of three or four different hobbies, actually. We teach people how to build the models, then paint the models, then we teach them how to play the game. We are a one stop shop. We sell the models, the tools, the paints and even the textbooks.
Wednesday's and Thursday's we teach painting. As we progress, some weeks we will focus on armor, sometimes hair or textures...each week has its own theme. You can check out our schedule on Facebook.
There is something for everybody. If you're an avid reader, if you like the painting or building...we really have so much to offer.
Everyone that comes in to the shop gets a free demo. We show them how to build a model, they get a quick painting lesson, we play a quick game and then they get to take their model home! It's a great way to get a taste of what we're all about." -Adam Salgado, Warhammer Apple Valley

First pass with the weathering pigments. Will go back with some typhus corrosion and dry brushing to work in some detail. I haven’t started the left side yet so added a pic to demonstrate the difference pigments make 😁. #warhammer40k#gamesworkshop#paintingwarhammer
