Here we have a basic system for opening chests.
Unlike collecting ammo where it deletes right away, the chests need to have a key held down for a certain amount of time until they open, giving whatever treasure is inside.

This will contain things such as ammo, but more importantly, notes about the story & what the journey lays ahead.

Until the end of this week - the exhibition Elixir Distillers @kapelicagallery is part of the Anthropomorphic Machines, my multi-year project, which is created on the twentieth anniversary of my artistic practice - through these new installations I summarise the key thematic elements defining my works - anthropomorphic and abstract machines, their roles in virtual/actual worlds, algorithms of noise, relationship of body, consciousness and technology, as well as the »uncanny« of technology.
Within this particular exhibition, I am exploring what can constitute a panacea nowadays - elements for elixirs and anthropomorphic agents are here functioning as research tools - the process of creating and involving these in everyday life brings about “objects-to-think-with” about past and future technologies.

Before starting make a game, we considered different types of engine. But in the end decided to use Unity, mainly because our game is 2d. It has user friendly UI, easy to work and free if you need to implement simple ideas 🎮

This small example project was made with the latest beta version of the engine! This project comes with the engine itself, so you can see how it all works and hopefully become more familiar with the engine and it's functions.

Here we have a cheap way of doing invisibility frames. So a character can not be hit many times at once.
The yellow enemy blocks turn to cyan for a certain amount of time before any more hits can be put on them.

Originally it would be 3 straight hits & gone. But now you need to wait until they are back to the original color before any more damage can be put on them.

More work still needed & will opt for a more flashy style, but this is more for testing things out. This will also live within the player itself, so at least enemies & player have that minor advantage once hit

WHICH GAME ENGINE IS THE BEST?

I'm using LibGDX for my Android game and it's my favourite game engine so far. It's cross-platform which means that you can write a game once and then deploy it to many different platforms (Android, Windows, Linux, Mac, IOS, ...).

Which game engine are you using at the moment and which is your favourite one? Someone recommended me to use Cocos2D in the future because it's more of an industry standard than LibGDX, so I will try to use that in my next game ;)

وقتی #یونیتی حال میکنه حالتو بگیره! داشتم کار میکردم خیلی شکیل کرش کرد و بسته شد وقتی دوباره بازش کردم شروع کرد ریلود کردن پروژه و اینجوری بود که ۳ ساعت نگاه در و دیوار میکردم تا تمام بشه... 🙃

Основой в разработке карт стал массив Синеозерный в Киеве.
На создание небольшой области на карте занимает больше суток, если при этом не отвлекаться от работы. Немало важно это изучение ЯП для скриптования действий и звука на карте. 
Как и у многих других, всегда было желание создать свой игровой мир и поделиться им с другими, но в одиночку создать игру нереально сложно — это работа творческого коллектива.

If you're trying to save an array of bool values (using PlayerPrefs, File, etc.) consider packing it into a string of bits. The following code shows how to pack a bool array into a string and unpack a string into a bool array.

Usually one of the #problems involved with all #game makers is to test the game and solve its problems, Particularly the problems that occur accidentally and their probability is very low.
Generally these problems do not seem very obvious with a single person test.
On the other hand, if you do not expect to handle these problems, The probabilities of freezing the game increase and it becomes troublesome
Note that all games receive input from their user for the game's progress
The way I always use is to #simulate user #inputs randomly
It is simply to simulate the user inputs by using of several numbers so that the game itself automatically import the entries and the game actually be played.
Now you just need to speed up the game so you can quickly check the game and identify the smallest problems that occur very randomly.
You can use #TimeScale to speed up in most #GameEngine.

This is the trailer of the game Brune, made by FX School Game Design & Development student Abhishek Dalvi.

In this RPG game, you are a spy, assigned to uncover a hidden cache of missiles and are given a variety of gadgets to complete this mission.

The game starts with the goal of establishing communications with Head Quarters. You get hints from HQ to progress further. The game uses a lock-picking mechanism as well as an infrared torch to show hidden chemical spots and fingerprints. There is no timer and you can explore the level as you please.

معمولا یکی از مشکلاتی که همه سازندگان #بازی باهاش درگیر هستن #تست بازی و رفع مشکلات اون هست، مخصوصا مشکلاتی که به صورت تصادفی رخ میدن و احتمال پیش آمدنشون خیلی خیلی پایین هست.
به صورت کلی این مشکلات با تست فردی و یک شخص خیلی نمایان نمیشن!
از طرفی اگر پیش بینی برای هندل کردن این مشکلات را نداشته باشید احتمال فریز شدن بازی خیلی بالا میره و دردسر ساز میشه.
توجه کنید که همه بازی ها از کاربرشون برای انجام روند بازی ورودی هایی را دریافت میکنن!
روشی که من خودم همیشه استفاده میکنم اینه که ورودی های کاربر رو به صورت رندم شبیه سازی میکنم.
یعنی خیلی ساده با چند تا عدد رندم ورودی های کاربر رو شبیه سازی میکنم تا خود بازی ورودی ها رو به صورت خودکار وارد کنه و عملا بازی انجام بشه.
حالا اینجا فقط نیاز هست سرعت بازی را بالا ببرید تا با نهایت سرعت بتونید بازی رو چک کنید و کوچکترین مشکلات که به صورت خیلی تصادفی پیش میان را تشخیص بدید.
میتونید در اکثر #GameEngine ها برای بالا بردن سرعت از TimeScale استفاده کنید.

My favorite thing to do on a #gameengine , apart from content creation is tweaking and fine tuning the lighting and post processing values. I love spending time observing how light and shadows affect the surfaces of various objects and create different feel every time it changed angles and positions, and even more so when the object moves. Here's my previous artwork being the test subject, I gave the eyes a subtle glow when there's little amount of light touching them.

Perhaps I should get myself a new #hobby. I'm starting to get increasingly weird.

Been learning about the Spherize and Rotate nodes in ShaderGraph. 
Pic 1: On the left is a texture. On the right is the texture applied to not a sphere, but a quad, using Rotate and Spherize nodes. 
Pic 2: Node setup screenshot. Couldn't fit the whole image in as it was too wide for insta.
ShaderGraph is just amazing! I should mention, I don't know a whole lot about Shaders and ShaderGraph so this may not be the best method of doing this, it is just the method I used. I'm still learning.
